Radisson Hotel & Apartments Gdansk

This was our first visit to Poland. Our language skills were at beginner level. Everyone was so kind with unerring us in the middle to commicate! The room was perfect, as was the breakfast and check-in and -out. Dziękumy za wizytę!

The hotel is well located and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The main issue was the lift access system, which relies on room key cards to allow access to specific floors. Unfortunately, the cards were often unreliable and required multiple attempts to work.

We booked two rooms as a family, one on the 4th floor and one on the 6th. Because floor access is restricted and there is no internal staircase available for guests, we were unable to visit each other between floors. This meant having to meet in reception to pass items between rooms, which was inconvenient.

Several other guests mentioned experiencing the same lift issues, so this is an area that would benefit from improvement.

Clean room, well appointed bedroom with king size bed. Bathroom with large walk in shower. Quiet at night. Fabulous breakfast with huge choice of food. Based in old town with all major attractions within walking distance. Could not fault it.

We were very much looking forward to our stay and at this Hotel and visiting the Christmas market in Gdańsk, but unfortunately our experience at this hotel was very disappointing.

We booked a double room with river view via Hotels.com, including breakfast. As the confirmation did not mention breakfast, we contacted the hotel well in advance by email. Two different staff members replied, confirmed receipt of our booking, and welcomed us, so we understood everything was in order.

Upon arrival, the reception was chaotic, and we were informed, to our surprise, that breakfast was suddenly NOT included. Despite showing the email correspondence, the staff stated that the replies from their own staff had been careless and that the booking details had not been checked. Although the issue was acknowledged, the hotel refused to take responsibility, and we were forced to pay an additional 1500 SEK (approx. 150 EUR) for breakfast for two over three days. Had we received correct information initially, we would have had the chance to modify or cancel our booking.
Guests must be able to trust the information provided by hotel staff and they need to take responsibility for what they inform, which was not made in this case. This is really not correct from the hotels side!

The breakfast itself was overcrowded, noisy, poorly organized, and very basic, with the same selection every day. Adding breakfast ended up being a regrettable decision.

Additionally, the refrigerator in our room did not work and required maintenance, and the makeup mirror was loose. While the room was nice and river view was lovely, these issues added to the overall disappointment.

We are extremely dissatisfied with the poor communication, lack of accountability, and overall service. This significantly affected our stay.
We do not recommend this hotel, as it seems to prioritize volume over guest care.

I booked this on their January deals and we got it for £300 including breakfast for 3 nights for 2 people. I think it was a great deal/
The rooms were lovely. The hotel is really nice and such a good location.
We didn’t use the spa but great to have this option.
Breakfast was ok, it was really busy so we probably didn’t see the best in this but there was nothing wrong with it. Although if you want a full English your be disappointed but they do have a good selection of hot and cold options.
I would stay here if we return.

Excellent location. Nice hotel, good room, nice spa, spaceous gym (5th floor), excellent breakfast, The only negative thing is the slightly off attitude of the young female receptionists, unfortunately, including the young woman at the spa reception. They have too little training in working with people. Their attitude was not welcoming, and I was overlooked in the queue (even though I was the only one in the queue). However, the young male receptionist saved my day when the reserved taxi for the airport did not show up as promised by the receptionist the evening before.

The hotel itself is fine and staff very helpful, what totally ruins the stay is that the nightclub next door plays hardcore dance from 10 pm until 2 or 3 am on Fridays and Saturdays. You can hear and feel every bass note so sleep is impossible.
This has been going on for over 2 years and the hotel can do nothing about it. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere.

We came for a trip to the Christmas Markets for my partners birthday and it was a fantastic hotel.
Super clean and very friendly staff. Maciej who checked us in was really nice and helpful. We got a very warm welcome.

We had everything we needed in our room and we had access to the spa which was well worth a visit. They provided towels, robes and slippers so didn’t need to bring anything with us!

The hotel has fantastic views of the city, I would recommend upgrading to a river view as the view is stunning. Perfectly situated for getting around.

Haven’t stayed at the hotel so cannot comment, however we did go into the lobby bar for dinner one evening.
Pork knuckle and the dumplings were really good.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, prices obviously reflect the fact that you are in a hotel in a tourist location.

Perfect location. Clean. we had a superior room with Spa access. The spa was very nice. The hotel is very nice decorated. It has a bar and restaurant and the first floor. Very cozy. The breakfast is excellent. You can order from a menu, whatever you like for breakfast.

Hotel is in a fantastic, central location - very walkable to all the sights and to loads of bars & restaurants.
Front desk staff were excellent, friendly, efficient, informative- a credit to the hotel.

Room was clean and comfortable, I thought a tad dated but no real complaints, other than it’s not very well designed. Wardrobe right by the bed so difficult to access, no drawer space at all for the likes of underwear , and no towel rail in the bathroom- in fact we had 4 bath towels but no hand towel - slightly odd- but the walk in shower was excellent.

We had a room facing the street and it really was noisy , even on the top (6th) floor. A river view I would imagine would be lovely, but suspect that could be noisy too as thats where the restaurants are.

We didn’t use the spa, but friends did and said it was ok - we paid for breakfast one morning- lots of choice, but some of it perhaps not to the taste of non- Polish guests - we didn’t feel we got our moneys worth on breakfast, but just personal taste- it was plentiful and good quality.

Nice bar, but expensive drinks.

Given the fab location and nice staff, I’d recommend and if we went back to Gdansk would stay there again

Rom supert, men spis ikke i restaurant. Uvanlig dårlig mat. Frokost OK, men dyr.

Läget var fantastiskt. Personal hjälpsamma.
Enda klagan var att frukostsalladen var ofräsch och brödet var inte så roligt.

I have stayed in this Radisson Hotel many times before and I was not disappointed this time too. It is a great place to stay and fully enjoy beautiful Gdansk Old Town. You cannot find a better location than this one. Service is great, good breakfast selection. Highly recommend.
