Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel

I am staying at the Sheraton for my best friend’s graduation from UPenn. Our group of family and friends has been in the bar area every day, multiple times a day. We have been consistently helped by Flo and Mikel and they have been absolutely awesome. They added to an already great weekend and made our time here immensely better!

The hotel is fantastic. Comfortable rooms, fun terrace outdoor area, and so easy to access UPenn campus.
The new bar area, &More, is outstanding. Mikel and Flo are AMAZING!!! They make great drinks, are friendly, and provide the best customer service/experience.

Had an amazing drink called fairmount, Rey, the bartender has all the funniest personality. Mikel, the other bartender is very easy to talk to. I had so much fun hanging out with these people

Hotel has been updated and looks great. Comfortable. Rey served me a new drink at the bar called Fairmount. Tasted great! Will definitely return.

My husband and I spent the night at this hotel because my husband was having surgery at University of Penn Hospital. We live in the Philadelphia area but wanted to be close by as he had to be at the hospital early. I fortunately got a late checkout but had to hang around after checkout as my husband’s procedure was not yet complete. I spent the rest of my time sitting at the hotel bar where the bartenders Rey and Flo were excellent. As worried as I was, I chatted with Rey who gave me some respite. Both bartenders were very nice and understood my situation. The ladies and the front desk were also very accommodating. Don’t remember their names but we spent the night of 5/5.

I'd like to share a review of the new lobby bar added as part of the renovations over the last year. After staying at the Sheraton over the last 10+ years, most often almost every week from 2023-2025, I was thrilled to notice a new addition to the updated lobby and figured I should check it out myself. I cannot speak more highly of Flo who primarily served me, as well as another male bartender (sorry I can't remember his name). The servers were friendly, accommodating, engaging, and incredibly generous. Not to mention the drinks were very tasty. I've never sat a bar alone before and had the best time! I cannot wait to return.

Great choice for business at Penn. The hotel was recently renovated and rooms were very comfortable and functional. The rooms were also an outstanding value. After a long drive I was helped by Cierra at the front desk and got a room upgrade. Club level was great to have in the morning!

If you are looking for a welcoming, clean, comfortable property in a wonderful area, the Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel is for you. For this trip, I traveled with my family, and this hotel did not disappoint. The rooms are modern and chic and the lobby has a great new bar. The staff on all fronts were sooo nice and even offered my Daughter something from the "treasure chest"...win! They have a really fabulous terrace that has games, firepits, and swinging lounge chairs. A seriously great "chill spot" when you aren't perusing the city. The location is very convenient, and just steps away, I highly recommend Rally House for affordable Philly/School souvenirs and The White Dog Cafe for good eats. The White Dog Cafe is a do.not.miss if you are a dog/animal person. Take my word for it!! The vibe and menu are paw-some :). 5/5 for this stay, will definitely return!!

I never leave reviews, but absolutely everyone at the University City Sheraton was lovely and helped me have a great stay. Checkin was friendly and efficient, the cafe/bar was pleasantly lively with good service and good food. The gym was on the small side but very well equipped, and the bell station was friendly and fast dealing with my bags. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The bar at this hotel as new. I had a great experience there. Flo was very friendly and gave us several great local restaurants to try. I highly recommend.

The hotel itself is beautiful, well appointed and exceptionally clean. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Most especially Ciera working the front desk who helped us with extending our stay an additional night. She made the process seamless and did it with a smile.

Flo was amazing at the bar inside the hotel. She made my daughter a diabetic friendly mocktail and and something delicious for myself. Highly recommend
