Great hotel good pool not so great restaurant
Pros:

Loved the hotel and especially the pools however the outdoor pool. The staff was super nice and very vey accommodating. Steller customer service.

Cons:

The outdoor pool could be so much better if they cleaned it during the day they did test the water but never once pulled the bugs out or the random leaves and trash that had blown in nor did the refill the towels for the outside pool. They workers just watched never cleaned anything all day for 2 days
Also the in-house restaurant was not helpful or accommodating. Prices and selection were subpar. No customer service most times no was behind the bar. I stood for 10 mins and no one even glanced my way

No cheeseburger
Pros:

Location is fine, but after a day of travel, was looking forward to shower & room service. Got the shower but when I called down for room service, was told none offered that night…there was an orthodox Bat Mitzvah being hosted, so no cheeseburger for me.

Pretty average overall
Pros:

Hotel is pretty average for business travel. Lobby area is tasteful and clean. Rooms are updated but lack attention to detail. For example there was a tear on one of the lamp shades the round plates attaching the headboard lamps were missing on two of the four lights and replaced with a thin piece of plain wood. Unfortunately, the first morning I woke up to hear a dripping sound and discovered the ceiling above my bed was dripping water directly onto the bed. Upon closer inspection the ceiling had been repaired and the issue ran all the way to the wall where the wall paper was peeling away (Rm 731). The front desk quickly moved me to a new room without issue and apologized for the inconvenience. Overall it was fine, just don't have high expectations.

Pros:

Emergency fire alarms kept going off & evacuations had to be made numerous times & the explanations were there was a problem with the boiler. There was no microwave inside the room & I was given a handicap room. I further was surprised that your establishment held a $100 per night deposit for the stay. Note no other Marriott hotel that I stayed at does that including the one I just recently stayed at by the Newark Airport which was a lot better.

Perfect pitstop after a late night arrival at JFK
Pros:

Excellent location on the way home to DC from JFK. Exactly what we needed re: rest, relaxation, and breakfast before continuing our drive home the next morning (checked in around 11PM). Comfortable beds hit the spot. Clean hotel. Nice people--shout out to Lamar, Cici, Evelyn, Dennis, and Nyla who spoiled us. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again because of its location, comfort, and people.
