Pros:

The team was helpful and very nice. Room was very clean, bed incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was very good and diverse.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Double Tree. It met our expectations.
Pros:

We didn't eat breakfast. We liked our room with an excellent view of a pond. We loved the whirlpool. It was very peaceful and quiet in our room. When we needed help with our whirlpool the staff came promptly to assist us. We enjoyed their signature complimentary chocolate chip cookies. The location of the hotel was excellent, which was within walking distance of many restaurants, a movie theater a grocery store, and a bank.

Cons:

I didn't like that the elevator smelled like marijuana. I'm not sure if anything can be done about that since the use of marijuana is legal in Minnesota. I didn't like that the breakfast was $21 dollars but I didn't go see what that included.

Doable but not a place I would stay again.
Pros:

The breakfast was okay. The room was great. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

We went out for a walk around the hotel for some exercise and fresh air. The sidewalk was littered with dog poop, so much so that we had no choice but to walk in the road, we walked around to the back side of the hotel to find blankets hung over the dumpster and an odd camper like, rundown vehicle . Not our usual walk.

I've stayed several times over the past and will Continue to stay there.
Pros:

Walking distance to a grocery and spirit store. Several restaurants, open air mall and Home depot, Costco and several small stores. Plus, just a 6 minute drive to the Porpich Center for Arts Education.

Cons:

The restaurant doesn't serve roasted lamb

Rooms not ready for over an hour past check in
Pros:

I have silver status with Hilton but still waited more than an hour past check in time to get a room. The lobby was full of angry people and no one could get a room. The clerk just kept saying, “all our rooms are dirty.” This hotel is clearly understaffed.
