Experience was good during stay but not well after
Pros:

Location is good although a bit noise coming from the airport, which is not a busy one.
Service is great and helpful during the stay.

However be aware of movie purchase on TV, it'll pop a confirm window to purchase, after stop there and close the TV, I still been charged $31.99 w/o purchase and watch. Called after the stay but customer service at the time keep telling system won't charge incorrectly w/o confirm twice, no investigation, unsatisfied to how they address issues post stay.

A clean, good but kind of expensive hotel near many convenient locations in the LA area.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. But the coffee was pretty bad. Choice of foods had variety and lots of freshness. Coffee was weak and the staff did not offer enough of it.

Cons:

The hotel had lots of trouble and kept calling upstairs to our room to "verify" our credit card charges. It was annoying.

Peaceful and quiet stay, again.
Pros:

They really do have 70 foot tall palm trees here. Front desk staff and restaurant staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. Peaceful, relaxing stay.

Overall, it was OK. I just wasn’t super blown away.
Pros:

The breakfast was OK. Some of the food was a little overcooked, but the staff was pleasant.

Cons:

The room was just super small and the shower looked very outdated and old. I was not used to for a typical Hyatt region agency.

Pros:

I have stayed at the Hyatt Regency many times and I have always enjoyed my time there. The staff is great the food is good and so is the room service they actually know me by name lol I especially enjoy the berry smoothie and I always order it with my lunches or dinners 😁

Cons:

I do find the Googlecast difficult to navigate other than that I have no complaints.

Cleanliness and good sense of security. We have stayed at this location many times and always enjoyed the stay.

Amazing location, felt perfectly upscale and clean!
Pros:

We loved this hotel and would stay again. It is so nice, huge room, so clean! Everything exceeded our expectations. We planned to go to Newport Beach, Disneyland and even drove down to San Diego for a day and it was the perfect location to hit all of these. We had two small children, and they loved the hotel just as much. I wish we could’ve stayed longer and would definitely stay again.

Good place to stay near the airport
Pros:

Nice hotel. It’s close to the airport which is very convenient but that also means it isn’t the most exciting place to stay. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. But parking rate was high — $35.

Great Location for an Upscale Hotel
Pros:

The hotel is a very short drive from John Wayne Airport yet does not in any way make for a noisy experience. My wife and I stayed here before our next-day flight from the airport. Our room is impressively arranged and furnished. Front desk staff members and servers in the onsite restaurant for breakfast were excellent. The hotel has a relaxed, calm, upscale vibe. Breakfast offered a great variety of quality proteins, pastries, fruits and dairy products at the optional buffet ($35 per person) which was a great value. The hotel is in the western part of Newport Beach and within easy driving distance from numerous excellent dining options for dinner.

Pros:

The staff were so attentive and cheerful. I miss seeing smiling people who really care for the guests in the hospitality industry. Especially Javier from the tech services and Lupe from the restaurants are the rock starts but everyone else was also so helpful and nice.

Cons:

The bed was so uncomfortable with the pillows.

The room was cold because of the AC settings, Javier fixed that.
