Modern hotel in a great location
Pros:

This is a huge and busy hotel, but staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was a good size with a floor to ceiling window overlooking Canal Street. The location is perfect to reach everywhere. Turn right leads you to the riverfront and left turn takes you to all the famous streets, bars and restaurants.

Great Location
Pros:

I recently stayed at the Sheraton New Orleans and had a mixed experience overall.

The lobby is one of the highlights—it’s open and spacious with a restaurant and bar that make it a great spot to relax. They offer a happy hour from 3–6 PM, and it’s a fun place to people watch or catch a game. There’s also a Café Beignet on-site, which was a convenient option for breakfast with good food at a reasonable price.

The location is excellent. You’re within easy walking distance to Bourbon Street, the Riverwalk, and nearby shopping, which made getting around very convenient without needing transportation.

That said, the hotel itself feels pretty outdated and could definitely use a refresh. While the rooms were clean and serviced daily—which I appreciated—some aspects felt worn. One small inconvenience was the lack of “Do Not Disturb” signs unless you specifically request one.

The pool was also a bit disappointing—it’s quite small and not much of a draw if you’re hoping to spend time there.

Overall, the stay was comfortable thanks to the cleanliness and unbeatable location, but the hotel could benefit from some updates to match the great setting.

Pros:

The hotel was so close to French Quarter but away from the noise. The hotel rooms are very nice and comfortable. The staff were excellent

Great Customer Service at SACAC

Adaijah H. was amazing to work with at the reservation desk. She listened carefully and made sure my needs were met and went above beyond to help me, which I appreciate as someone who walks with a cane. Overall stay for SACAC Conference was superb and I’ll always remember this great experience 😍

dissapointed by the employee service at the restaurant on the second floor,
breakfast buffet is expensive for its quality
There was an error by the time I checked in and It was impossible to get a reimbersment with the ladies at the front desk.

Le jour du check out, ils récupèrent la clé sans qu'on est à passer par la réception. Un employé dans le hall vient vous voir pendant que vous faites la queue et prend la carte et dit que vous pouvez partir. Je leur ai demandé la facture et ils m'ont dit "pas de facture". 3 jours plus tard 200 Euros de frais ont été prélevés sur mon compte grâce à l'empreinte de la carte bleue qu'ils avaient. J'ai mis une semaine à obtenir une facture en les relançant tous les jours et là à ma grande surprise j'ai vu qu'ils ont mis des frais sur mon compte qui ne m'étaient pas imputables. A ce jour, soit 10 jours plus tard, je suis encore en train de perdre mon temps pour récupérer l'argent pris abusivement sur mon compte. Une honte ! En 20 ans que je prends des hôtels sur booking, c'est la première fois qu'une chose pareille m'arrive. A fuir !!!!
