Pros:

Location was good for me. Good value compared to others in the area. Bar had good service and food was good value. Room was nice.

Cons:

Mattresses and pillows were quite firm. Breakfast food was ok but certain items were cold. The breakfast room was absolute carnage with people and kids flying all over the place with no courtesy or manners. Disappointing. The chairs are far too big for the room and add to the difficulty in getting around the room.

Der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für einen Londonurlaub.
Pros:

Perfekte Lage, nur wenige Meter bis zur U-Bahnstation "Gloucester Road". Check-out bis 12 Uhr mittags ist Standard. Sehr freundliches Personal. Glutenfreies Frühstück war kein Problem, es gab auf Wunsch glutenfreies Brot, viele Gerichte waren gekennzeichnet. Am ersten Morgen hat uns der Oberkellner jede Speise des Frühstückbuffets bzgl. Gluten erläutert.

Cons:

Wir waren zu viert und hatten zwei Zimmer zur Straße, der Straßenlärm war nachts teilweise störend laut.

Ruhig gelegen - mit vielen Kompromissen ist es akzeptabel- mehr nicht.
Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine gute und vergleichsweise ruhige Lage in Kensington. Direkt an der picadilly line. Die Betten waren sehr gut.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind veraltet, ebenso die Bäder. Duschen kann man kaum, da der Wasserdruck minimal ist und das Wasser eher rieselt. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach und ohne jede Variation- vielleicht eher in der Umgebung etwas suchen. Insbesondere das Verhalten der Mitgäste ist teilweise befremdlich (im Schlafanzug im esssaal. Mit Lockenwicklern.) hier wird darauf überhaupt nicht geachtet.

was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond.
Daniel is extremely knowledgeable and a true professional.

Beautiful room - upgrade was a happy surprise!! The cleaning staff were wonderful. Thank you!
ALL the Gentlemen in Concierge Service were amazing and went beyond at every turn: friendly at every time of day, professional, helpful, excellent advice re transportation -which routes, timing, traffic- and also restaurants and other services like post office, grocery stores and pharmacy. I felt like they were the best of brothers making sure my trip was enjoyable and that I was well taken care of. Many, many thanks!
