Pros:

The location was perfect. The breakfast was delicious. The room was good, but somewhat appeared to be overused. The bed is excellent. I missed a couple of body lotions - they were not supplied.

Cons:

The lighting should be improved. You do not have to remove breakfast at precisely the time you indicated would end. Provide a variety of items too.

Pros:

Check In and Check out was easy and efficient. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had.

Cons:

Shower and toilet area was a little small. Needs more plugs to plug in phones and tablets.

Room not bad, but staff needs congeniality training

We just stayed in this hotel for a couple nights this week while attending the AmericasMart. It is just a few blocks down from Peachtree center, but at night I would have been uncomfortable walking down there alone had I not had a business associate with me. The hotel is dated, although the room seemed clean. The staff was awkward at best. The last night (yesterday) we inquired at the front desk about the advertised dining - just to get a light bite. The front desk said they didn't know if the cook was there but would try and find out (it was 6:15 pm). My business partner went to our room for minute, I sat in the lobby to wait re dining, about 10 minutes go by, the front desk woman had walked away and all of sudden another women appeared behind the counter and yelled over 'what do you want?" I said do you have a menu? She was agitated and I believe rolled her eyes (hard to see through the angry face) but didn't answer me. I said never mind, we'll figure something else out. She just stormed away. We were never even informed if the kitchen was open. The front desk staff was not welcoming not really acknowledged you when you come in.
The free buffet breakfast was fine - typical buffet. Decent fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, eggs toast etc.
I would not stay here again as there are too many other better options in town. I am a pretty easy-going traveler, but am intolerant of rude, unhelpful behavior.
