Lovely city stay.
Pros:

The Hotel is an iconic Collins Street destination, the room as comfy and the view incredible across the Melbourne city and beyond. The Brekky was delicious with plenty of options and again with a great view of Melbourne.

Cons:

The shower being inside the bath tub.

Annual birthday treat
Pros:

Thank you for looking after my 8yo again who chose to stay with you once again for his birthday. He was delighted with the gift and sweet treats and especially treasured the birthday hat!

We love the service at Sofitel, can't fault it. Always genuine and accommodating.

Beautiful city sunset views.

Tram stop right outside is very handy. Lots of food options downstairs if don't want to go far.

Breakfast just right although we missed being served by Alice this year who was always delightful

Cons:

Would have preferred a room without the stepover bathtub.

Not that it's necessary being winter,, but my husband would have appreciated if there was an indoor pool.

Pleasing, calm, a luxe experience.
Pros:

1 loved the location, the calm atmosphere, the luxe feel, and the lovely staff. Not to mention the wonderfully deep bath!

Cons:

Everything was well kept, good location, all staff were excellent, very nice stay overall

Cons:

Only complaint was shower was very finicky to get correct temperature, seemed to be too hot then too cold and didn’t stay at constant temp, everything else was perfect

Very convenient, staff were fantastic ie; cleaning staff, restaurant & attendants at the front door were exceptional!

Cons:

Being on the 42nd floor is- a bit scary to me as I have a phobia of heights, but not too bad
