Taj Aravali Resort & Spa Udaipur

We had a very good experience at Taj Aravali. The staff were excellent—especially Surajpal and Kamal at the entrance, who took great care of my mother, and the team at the restaurant, particularly Anup.

Our stay at Taj Aravali Resort & Spa was nothing short of exceptional.

From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the grandeur laced with serenity amidst the gorgeous landscape. The service we received was that of royalty - The manager Kaustubh made sure our entire trip was not only comfortable but exceptional. There was a minor bump with the buggy situation, but we were so grateful for the extremely receptive management - it was taken care of immediately by Ritesh and the rest of the stay was flawless.

All of the staff was were very helpful and went out of their way to be welcoming and made sure our stay was pleasant including the restaurant staff of Tiri and Javitri (not very happy with the Odeypore), housekeeping, buggy drivers, front desk and door and welcome staff.

We look forward to booking another vacation here soon!

Mayur ji have us a fantastic tour on the e-bike - he is very knowledgeable - highly recommended - we took the 1 hour tour - there are options for 2 hours and 3 hours as well

Despite having the correct room booked, I was initially allocated the wrong room and had to complain multiple times to reception. The staff gave excuses instead of resolving the issue, and after being shifted to another room (543), we experienced a strong sewage smell with no proper action taken. Only after escalation through my agent were we finally shifted late at night to an acceptable room (149). This experience caused significant inconvenience and disappointment during our stay. As a regular visitor to Udaipur and a returning guest to Aravali, this visit was a major letdown, and I do not plan to return or recommend the property.

We are extremely touched by the warmth and care of Taj Aravali team .
Ms Sanjana the stay manager is exceptional .She made everything just right and perfect for us.
At front desk Khushi and Rhythm are lovely people .
At Tiri Mr Manoj the manager is amazing and treated us like family and kept checking if we needed anything anytime.
Anup at Tiri restaurant is very nice .
Housekeeping head Mr Giriraj is great .

One of the best sight we witnessed was welcoming the kids from NGO with Tikka, Garland ,love ,respect and arranging Christmas feast for them .

Very happy by there welcome and amazing hospitality. Even guards treated us very well they provided bottles every time we step out of hotel. Staff took care of small needs of my niece. Loved the experience.

Enjoyed the stay. The property is beautiful and offers magnificient views of Aravalli mountains. Away from the hustle bustle of the city.

Kids play charge and inside food too expensive already hotel charge enough

Very beautiful property constructed on a slope of a Aravali mountain. Ones you are here you don't need to step out it has so much to offer. Incredible food and activities experience. Staff is very attentive and proactive. Large and beautiful rooms with natural porch.
Would definately stay again.

Truly a Taj experience !

The rooms are so well done, exude warmth. The bed is comfortable, not too soft.
Well equipped with all toiletries I could think of.

Suraj and Kamal at the entrance are highly welcoming , and greet with warmth.

Sumi helped us change our room from a garden sit out, to a lovely cottage . There was a wedding next door and it’s a bit noisy on our first day of stay. Sumi went out of her way to check for alternatives, and eventually gave us an upgraded room in Day 2

I was super well fed through both days, and was glad that I picked all meals.
The Indian and Asian food at Tiri is excellent! The restaurant well-manned .
Rekha’s service at Tiri was super endearing , always cheerful and ever smiling . Chef Sanket spoke to us through our meal and ensured we were taken care of.

If I were to nitpick, the Italian food at Tiri was underwhelming. The pizza and the pastas were not good.
The Margherita pizza was forgetful, shared my feedback with chef Sanket.
The Aglio olio pasta needed some starch water which emulsifies with the extra virgin olive oil, lending it an amazing creamy texture. Instead it tasted like panfried noodles.

Day 2 breakfast was chaotic due to some wedding party, so obviously the service suffered , but the staff did well to keep us fed.
But all in all, amazing Indian food at the restaurant. I would have loved having one of my meals at some other restaurant , but that didn’t seem possible according to the reception staff.

All in all, what an amazing property , thoughtfully designed , all amenities taken care of, well stocked gym(used iron both days).
Very luxurious, but more importantly, warm and endearing ❤️
