The hotel itself was great—comfortable and well-maintained. But I have to be honest, my experience with the front desk staff was disappointing. They weren’t helpful or welcoming, and it affected my overall impression. Just something to consider improving

Pros:

The breakfast area in the courtyard is nice. This is the only nice thing about this hotel.

Cons:

The staff was not pleasant. There was no bellhop to help with luggage. The bed linens, especially the comforter/duvet insert, were paper thin. It does not feel like a 4-star hotel. The rooms feel like a 2 or 3-star hotel at best.

Just-right, the Goldilocks of Hyatt Regency's
Pros:

Very nice Hyatt, what you would expect in a Regency. Friendly, professional folks, clean, and fully-functioning rooms, well-stocked with anything one would need, and beautiful restaurant/bar areas. Ice machine on the 4th floor is out of order, I never told anyone, surely they would have run up some ice if I asked. Location is great, Princeton-ish, technically West Windsor Township, but convenient to Carnegie Center corporate offices, and out of hustle and bustle, just leave time for driving if needed, Rt 1 gets crowded.

Really need warmer temperature
Pros:

Clean and comfortable rooms

Cons:

There was no heat in the indoor pool area. Cracked windows were making it uncomfortable to stay in the pool and the draft and cold air kept coming in. Ate at the Laura restaurant but was too cold to even finish a meal. Hopefully they get the heat situation fixed and would love to visit again

Great hotel located perfectly
Pros:

Very nice Hyatt with a dramatic restaurant/bar setting with Koi fish water ponds. Ample parking and well off the busy highway.

Tired business hotel that needs a makeover
Pros:

Tired business hotel, that needs a serious makeover.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, but the hotel is just tired.

Refrigerators did not work in room, and ice machine on our floor was broken. Changed rooms because the refrigerator in first room was not operational, and there was a huge stain in the carpet. Disgusting.

Not a warm environment in temperature or staff temperament
Pros:

I would not stay in this hotel. The windows were drafty, and the water was not hot enough. Given the cold temperatures outside, neither the hotel nor the room offered a warm hug once inside. Breakfast was expensive and not great quality. The barista at the walk-up coffee counter seemed bothered by the customers and was very slow.

Family stay with pool
Pros:

We had a great family stay at Hyatt Regency. The pool was clean, relaxing, and perfect for both kids and adults. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better. Would happily visit again!
