NY-DC pitstop
Pros:

It was a quick over night pit stop. We checked in very late driving from NYC to DC. Took a leisurely morning walking around Princeton town and campus before checking out. The hotel is conveniently located off the freeway. But it does not feel at all like you are next to a freeway. Room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. There is a nice workout room and indoor pool. We did not take advantage of all the amenities.

Spacious and quiet option near Princeton, avoid hotel dinner if you could
Pros:

The room is spacious, the beds are comfortable. It is in a very quiet location in Princeton, far away from any noise. The building is well maintained, and the staff is super helpful.

Cons:

I would say the dinner tastes terrible. We ordered a burger and a chicken sandwich, both were burned even though we asked for "medium rare", and it's very bland. Seriously, this tastes worse than MacDonalds. We also ordered steak, which is better, but the portion size is... European rather than American.

The breakfast is much much better.

Nice short stay with the kids.
Pros:

I like the layout of the hotel. The view of the bar from the balcony was nice. It was family friendly. The pool was warm. It looks like there is comedy shows on the weekends.

Cons:

The room needed a few updates. It was crowded at the pool which made it feel small.

The stay was not worth what was being charged.
Pros:

The property was available. Parking was easy and convenient. And the check in staff was pleasant despite being overwhelmed.

Cons:

They seemed to be short staffed. We waited much longer than usual to check in at 10pm. The room wasn’t all that clean and didn’t come stocked with the bedding for the sofa, which was needed because the double queen we booked wasn’t available. The cooling system in the room didn’t work on auto and had to have the fan on high to regulate.
