I was in a double Queen room overlooking Lady Bird Lake. The View was amazing and the room was so comfortable and accommodating. Love how attentive the staff was to my needs whenever contacted.
I did not enjoy how cold the hotel was as a whole. I could not go anywhere in the hotel without a jacket. Hundreds of people in the conference I was apart of constantly spoke on how uncomfortably cold it was. So much so that a group of us would go sit outside so that we could over heat in order to come back into the cold hotel and function.
Brooke at front desk was so friendly and helpful. I wanted to check in early, and she responded via text when the room would be available. I was upgraded to a higher, quieter floor, furthest from the elevator, per my request. Great corner room with views!! When I told her I was checking out early and would miss breakfast, she gave me a voucher so that I could get coffee at the Juniper Breeze market in the hotel before I left. Everyone that worked at the Juniper Breeze market was also so friendly.
The pool on property was also lovely, but too much of it was deep! I wished there was a Regency Club at this property. However, the Market credit and daily free cookie was enough. I would definitely come back!
Very nice hotel, some construction recently but overall nice. The weight room leaves something to be desired(could use improvement)
Great overall experience during our stay. We experienced an issues with the valet service during our stay. The key was not properly placed in their system. At midnight, we were looking for our vehicle since we needed it in the morning for our daughter medically appointment. The front desk attendant, Emily and her supervisor did an outstanding job helping us resolve the issues. For about an hour we will looking for our vehicle with the valet service team. It was resolve.
Front dest supervisor even followed up with a phone call the next day to apologize which we fully accepted. Definitely a good team member to have for Hyatt.
Always Enjoy the Hyatt Experience. Why not how often can you celebrate 50 years as A CPA?
Shared it with my gifted talented gorgeous wife Suzi
Super bummed, was told we had lake view by courtnie at Hyatt. Arrived and we did not have a lake view. We had a tiny room with view of a construction site and hair all over the bathroom
The hotel offers a great view and has a very friendly and professional staff. Even the cashier was kind and welcoming. The location is excellent, making it a great spot for conferences, events, and taking photos around the city.
However, the outdoor areas need much better maintenance. During my week-long stay, I noticed bird droppings, spiders, and spider webs throughout the outdoor seating areas. While seeing squirrels is natural, the overall cleanliness of these spaces was disappointing. I never observed staff cleaning the outdoor areas during my stay.
If you plan to sit outside at night, be aware that there were cockroaches around the back of the building. Additionally, housekeeping did not service the room daily unless specifically requested.
I would also advise guests to be cautious of insects. I experienced multiple bites during my stay and developed itchy, swollen areas on my body, which I believe were caused by bugs in the room.
Overall, the views are beautiful, the staff is excellent, and the location is ideal, but improvements in cleanliness, pest control, and outdoor maintenance are needed.
I stayed at the Hyatt for five nights while attending a conference and had a fantastic experience throughout my stay.
The hotel is huge, yet it still felt welcoming and easy to navigate. My room (626) was spacious, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet at night, which made it easy to get a great night’s sleep. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room had everything I needed for a longer stay.
The staff were exceptional—friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. They even offered me a late checkout, which was greatly appreciated.
I also loved having the onsite convenience store for picking up water, snacks, and other essentials. The food throughout the hotel was delicious, and the pool area was clean and well maintained.
Overall, I couldn’t fault my stay. A great hotel with excellent facilities, outstanding service, and a perfect option for both business and leisure travellers. I would happily stay here again.
We had a great time, saw bats and used canoe with hotel complimentary rental voucher. Thank you, Austin Hyatt Regency for a wonderful weekend!
Hyatt service at its best. Room was impeccable. Pool and gym area were great. We will definitely be back. Near all the fun of South Congress and other fun downtown yet a relaxing getaway from that too.
Location and the view
Pillows and blankets were not comfortable
Solid experience all around. Clean and spacious rooms and convenient location. Was here for a short stay and it was very good.
Great location, quick walk to ACL live and other areas. Garage parking as well as valet available. And easy to get in and out of when needed.
Beautiful hotel, with excellent amenities, and an extremely courteous and helpful staff! I would definitely return to Austin and choose this hotel!
Lovely, renovated hotel in an excellent location. Perfect for watching the bats come out at dusk. The customer service was excellent! Front staff was attentive and accommodating, the breakfast buffet was amongst the best we have ever had!
Mold on ceiling tiles in bathroom. Room was not clean, sheets had holes in them, floor was gross, hallway carpet was dirty.
Rooms were clean and TV was big.
Two thumbs way up. Newly renovated. Spring for a room overlooking the lake and skyline. Easy walk to restaurants, activities and Long Center.
Nice hotel with excellent service. Pool is not that great compared to how it is advertised. Small and noisy with location. A bit of a walk to downtown (10-15 min). Not much around the hotel iteself.
