The view is amazing. Location was good for a metro hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the Paperback bus that traveled to major areas of the city. Thank you. The room was suitable. There were some issues we presented to staff which addressed quickly. Staff were very engaged and responsive.
Spiders and bugs in the room. To come into the room and the bathroom sink was not draining. The housekeeping staff should have recognized and reported. The tub's drain plug was removed and left on the side of the tub. Again, housekeeping. The coffee maker was defective and had to be replaced. The only microwave was on the first floor. Maybe we can get a microwave on every floor, near the ice maker. We had a balcony and it had some lighting that attracted bugs, especially the spiders that formed very large webs, making the terrace unappealing. Need a new chef.

Bar not open late enough. No vending machine on twelfth floor despite signage to the contrary.
We booked a balcony room, but because there was not one availble at check-in, they upgraded us to a suite. The suite had a wonderful view of the Charles River. The courtyard was a nice area with beautiful plants and birds. We ate breakfast in the hotel each morning. They offered a wide variety of food options on the menu as well as a buffet. We loved everything we were served.
Room was OK but a little cramped for a family of three.
The parking garage was next to the main hotel with covered access in case of rain but there is a largish daily charge for this.
The one and only restaurant on 2nd. floor was not large with limited view but the food was nice for the two dinners we had.
Breakfast on all three mornings was terrible. Very poor service and had to keep requesting our very simple order many times and ended up with cold coffee and incomplete orders as it was impossible to get served in a timely fashion.
The last morning, we gave up and got coffee and food on the first floor where they have another option for quick breakfast .
This place was MUCH better, quick and friendly staff and a few items of pastry and sandwiches. If you want eggs and a cooked breakfast go out. Don't bother with the restaurant on the 2nd. floor.
Second stay here and Brian from valet is the best! Always super nice, helpful with bags, careful with my car, and gives great recommendations for Boston. Makes staying here a pleasure!
