Pros:

O hotel era ótimo. Acomodação perfeita, tamanho do quarto muito bom, banheiro ok. Café da manhã muito bom. Lobby grandioso, integrado com restaurante e com um bom mini mercado. Limpeza boa. Chegamos tarde e o recepcionista nos ajudou com um pedido de tele entrega de pizza, foi muito atencioso.

Cons:

Estávamos com criança, com carrinho de bebe e no lobby tinha escada rolante, o q dificultava um pouco o acesso, mas o acesso pelo elevador e rampa lateral tbm existia.

Cons:

Unaware site under construction. We checked in then left to attend concert then returned to find police barricading the roads to access hotel. My friend was starting to feel ill due to extreme heat and for her well-being we made the decision to go back to Virginia rather than wait on the unknown police event. I returned after midnight to retrieve our belongings from room that we ended up not staying in. It was an expensive disappointment.

Comfortable, convenient, and quiet
Pros:

The atmosphere of this hotel seems intended for people travelling for business, as opposed to families. It was a lovely hotel, and better than I expected. The lobby was very nice. It was decorated for the holidays, and it felt fairly upscale. I was greeted right away by the staff, who gave me a complimentary bottle of water and were courteous and ready to help. I arrived by train in the morning and was surprised that my room was already available. The elevator operates with your room key, so it felt safe. I enjoyed my room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable to me, and everything was perfectly clean. I liked that there was an area rug around the bed, which helps reduce noise. The chair was also comfortable, and I made use of the desk. The bathroom has handy motion sensor lights underneath the sink area, which is great if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night without blinding yourself by turning the regular lights on. The shower and toiletries were good. I requested a quiet room, and it was very quiet. I didn't notice any street noise, and I didn't hear anything from neighboring rooms either. The blackout curtains worked well. I had to leave at 6am to catch a train, and checkout was very convenient - you can just text them to let them know you're leaving, and that's it. There is also a market inside the gift shop that is very helpful. They have a refrigerated section with soft drinks, take-away sandwiches, and individual yogurts and string cheese. There's a freezer with ice cream bars, and there are lots of individual sized snacks, like chips, crackers, candy, cookies, and granola bars. There's also a case in the front with baked goods, like bagels, cookies, and pastries. They sell coffee as well. The location of the hotel is also perfect. It's 2 blocks from the train station, and about 2 blocks from the National Mall. The next time I come to DC, I'd definitely stay here again.
