Hotel needs updates. Is it clean? Yes. Staff is friendly. The complaints are for the physical property. The vanity in the bathroom looked like someone bought the wood colored sharpies and tried to color in all the nicks. There are quite a few. The window, thankfully on the outside, covered with some sort of bug. The tv needs upgrading to the hotel televisions of today. There should be an easy way to connect and stream. The sheets. I thought I was going to love them. They feel great. For the love of whoever you look up to, get a fitted sheet. Nobody and I mean NOBODY wants to wake up and discover they are sleeping on a mattress that, again whoever you look up to, has slept on. Put a bug bed cover on this mattress and cover it in a sheet that isn’t going to come up EVERY time you get up to pee. Also, I don’t want to sleep on a sheet that is all bunched up. I want a tight fitted sheet on the mattress. I’d take the window bugs over the lack of good sheets any day. Again, they were in the outside. The sheets were honestly disrespectful of giving me a good night sleep. The Starbucks workers in the lobby cafe - talking about Love Island A+
Great location, terrific lobby area for meeting. Reasonably priced food and drinks. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly and it was an overall great hotel.
The rooms were clean, but small. The staff was very kind and friendly. However, after I left the hotel called me multiple times to say that the business credit card I had used to pay had been declined and I needed to give them my personal card number. THIS WAS A LIE. The card had gone through just fine on Monday morning, and if I had given them my personal card I would have been double-charged. This is INCREDIBLY scummy on Hyatt's part, and makes their guests more vulnerable to scammers. NEVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO TO SOMEBODY WHO CALLED YOU. NEVER.
Also, they had water bottles in my room which were only free for "Hyatt members". Housekeeping told my kids that they were allowed to drink them, so they did. I'd think a luxury hotel wouldn't be so hard up for money that they had to resort to tricking young children into running up the bill. I have been to many hotels that had vending machines or little shops with toothpaste and deodorant and stuff in the lobby. I think that's a much better and more professional way of handling this that doesn't make them seem about as trustworthy as an Indian call center.
I am very disappointed. I have never had an experience like this before; and I usually stay in much cheaper hotels like La Quinta and Best Western, which also have free breakfast.
Great location & great service. JR the bellman was outstanding. Extremely helpful and friendly. Check in was very easy and the staff was very friendly.
So much to do in the area with excellent bars and restaurants nearby.
Definitely will return.
Great location. Comfortable bed and clean room. There was a musty smell though. Windows don't open so there was no way to freshen the air. Service at the hotel was outstanding. Anyone I dealt with was friendly and accommodating.
There was roaches in room
Absolutely — here’s a polished review:
**5 Stars**
I stayed at the Hyatt Milwaukee while attending the NAELA National Conference last week, and I had a great experience despite a small issue with my room. When I went to turn on the shower, the knob unexpectedly came right out of the wall. I informed the front desk, and they immediately contacted maintenance.
Because the part could not be repaired right away, the staff quickly transferred me to a new room without any hassle. The response was prompt, professional, and handled with genuine care.
The customer service was excellent — friendly, attentive, helpful, and kind. The staff should absolutely be commended for their quick action and sound decision-making. They turned what could have been a frustrating situation into a smooth and positive experience, and they helped make my stay a true delight.
Great property located right in the heart of downtown! The entire staff of this property is very friendly and helpful. Having stayed at this property several times over the years - they continue to exceed our expectations!
Rooms were in need of upgrades. Toilet in bathroom was child size. A lower toilet than even standard height. Sheets don’t stay on bed. Repeatedly we told them our room door doesn’t stay closed and they did not fix it. They do not serve breakfast menu items on weekends in the restaurant. They have tables in the restaurant and some in the lobby area. I got coffee from Starbucks and even though no one was eating in the restaurant at 9:30 am, they chased me away from that table.
The hotel was beautiful. The staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make the stay for my daughter and her new husband's wedding night absolutely perfect. Jackie at the hotel helped me set up some extras for them. She did a fantastic job. The Kids were so pleased with the whole experience.

The breakfast was very nice. The staff slow and a bit aggressive. Breakfast was included with room and had to get harassed by hostess and waitress before they could figure out. Was then rushed because I had to be somewhere and was late because of their delaying me.
See above.
Great proximity, and overall great stay
Location and cleanliness
the room was good size for what I needed and the location of the hotel was amazing I was able to walk just a few blocks and had so much to do around the area.
the hotel looks a bit run down from the outside but at least the inside was much better and all you're employees were just very helpful and very kind and easy to speak with. My only concern was that a lady was yelling and screaming down in the main lobby early in the morning, I did see three employees with her I just wished they would of escorted her out sooner.
The rooms were well appointed and very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, as well as the staff in the bar.
We had a group of 3 rooms at $400/nt and felt that at least complimentary coffee or breakfast would have been appreciated. Also, the elevators were eternally slow.
