Hyatt Regency Long Beach

We returned to one of our favorite Long Beach hotels for Thanksgiving, and once again the Hyatt Regency delivered a great experience. This visit, our family booked two rooms — a Regency Suite and a Two Double Beds room — and both were clean, comfortable, and well maintained.

The Regency Suite was perfect for hosting Thanksgiving gatherings, offering plenty of space along with beautiful views of Long Beach. The location truly can’t be beat — it’s within easy walking distance to shopping, dining, the Aquarium, the pier, the beach, the Convention Center, and other nearby attractions.

As Hyatt Globalists, we enjoyed breakfast each morning at The Market, which was excellent and a great way to start the day.

This property continues to be one of our top choices in Long Beach, and we always recommend it to family and friends.

It is a beautiful location, and the rooms have amazing views on all sides. It is so close to the Convention Center. There are a lot of restaurants, shops, and things to do within walking distance.

Stayed 1 night for the convention. Woke up the next day with a terrible backache. And then I had to drive 7 hours in pain back to AZ.

It was very clean

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was very close to shopping and many nice restaurants. The Queen Mary is a quick Uber ride and totally worth the tour.

Clean and staff were kind

This is a challenging situation.

The hotel itself is commendable, with exceptionally attentive staff.

However, the breakfast service on weekdays is often problematic, offering only market-sourced food, which results in lengthy queues.

The staff are pushed to their limits as many guests are in a hurry to attend conferences, meetings, and other events.

Such disorder has not been observed at any other Hyatt property.
As a Globalist member, I stay approximately 190 nights annually at Hyatt hotels.

Totally lost my business!

Conveniently located near the convention center. Helpful and friendly front desk staff. Friendly business oriented atmosphere. Rooms were updated, clean, and very roomy. The bed was comfortable and temperature control was easy Nice view of the beach. Pricey even with convention rates. Room was quiet except for occasional hall noise.

Staff was really good, the time I spent was nice, the fitness center was AWESOME and I had fun. Even had a video game system for people to play in the lobby. Rooms were beautiful. Parking was a little steep. : )

My one night stay here was better than expected. The hotel was clean and perfect for a good night's sleep. The beds and pillows were comfortable, though the room was a bit warm and there was no way to cool it down besides running the fan. I was here for business and the meeting rooms, and staff were satisfactory for what we needed. I used the hot tub and fire pit, which was a nice treat after a long day of work/travel. The hotel was located near so many shops and restaurants and convenient for the conference center. I would for sure stay here again.

I was pleasantly surprised with this beautiful hotel as Service surpassed my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly valet person who provided excellent service. I then proceeded to check in and the great customer service continued to impress me. The location of this hotel is great as it is close by the beach, which made my morning walk very enjoyable. I had breakfast each morning and was blown away by the quality of the food. Food is made fresh daily and I was able to enjoy huevos rancheros, Chia, pudding, fresh fruit, and more. The fitness center is top notch, the property has a nice pool and overall I really enjoyed my stay!

The connecting doors need sound proofing. We heard our neighbors on both sides of our room, and it was loud late at night from one side and loud early in the morning on the other side. Breakfast was below standard for a Hyatt Regency, more like a Hyatt Place. It would have been nice if the check-in clerk informed us of the resort benefits, which I didnt find out until I was checking out of the hotel.

The weather was amazing around 85°. There are lots places to grap breakfast( waffle) three block up pine. The room was clean nice view. I checked in super easy and the staff were super helpful.

This hotel is clean and comfortable - Offers great amenities. Lots of shopping/restaurants in walking distance. The view of the ocean is lovely, and it's fun to watch people paddle boat in the swan boats.
