Went to Starbucks and got to meet Uncle Snoop. He had the best hospitality
Stopped in to get some Starbucks and had a wonderful experience with the head of security at the Hyatt. He made us feel safe and welcomed into the big city!!
The hotel gave another family keys for check in to the room my 16 yo daughter was staying in. Someone tried to enter her room around 11 pm to check in. I am a globalist and was charged for premium WiFi. We went down for breakfast at 630 am and no one was there and we had to bee somewhere. Charges to my Hyatt card are incorrect and it appears is going to be a nightmare to get it fixed.
My experience with Head of Security, Terry, was amazing. I felt so safe and welcomed…not to mention he smelled so good! See you next time Terry!!!
Terry Mandley with Security is so welcoming to all the guests and he helps all the employees whenever and wherever he can. He makes sure that everyone has a great day!
Mr. Terry from security is awesome! While I was not staying at the Hyatt, I visited the Starbucks and Mr. Terry went above and beyond to ensure my experience while simply sitting in the outdoor lounge area was amazing.
The experience at the hotel was awesome! Great rooms and complete amenities. The security supervisor, however, was phenomenal ... kind, knew exactly how to direct us and definitely made me feel welcome and I'm an 81 yr old flight attendant with Southwest Airlines! I, too, get awards for great customer service so when I recognize that skill in others I comment because it's a RARE skill these days.
One of several major hotels in downtown Louisville. Good staff, all competent and pleasant. Everything in the room worked. Shower was a little undersized and could have used a no-slip matt. I would stay there again.
I’m sure this is a decent hotel, however they were definitely off their game. I booked my stay with points through my credit card, because it was last minute I called and verified the reservation and availability because I’m traveling with my wife and 2 small children. Everything looks good. Upon arrival, I’m informed they don’t have the 2 queens I booked available. We go with the next best option which is a queen and a pull out. We proceed to the room, only to be met by someone already in the room. Back to the front desk to rectify the situation and now all that’s available is a king. We were not offered any comps, discounts or anything to better the situation. Very poor performance and follow through on the staffs end. This also took place from 9pm-11pm with 2 small children and an upset wife. Instead of owning the mistake, the staff placed blame on every one else. A simple, “we messed up and we’re going to fix it” makes a world of difference.
I stayed in Louisville for the first time for two nights last week. It was my first time in Louisville and was looking forward to seeing old friends and doing some bourbon trail. Check-in was bizarre as there was a third party valet service that did not give you a receipt, just a text and I was a bit uncomfortable handing a brand new rental over to someone without a receipt but the lady was very convincing and I moved along. There is no bell service which was a pain as I have a handicapped spouse so I had to get the trolley and move my wife and everything myself .
That was a bit frustrating but was quickly met at the WOH check in by a very nice person that welcomed me and gave me a welcome bag with water and cookies. I was upgraded to the VIP suite and was presently surprised at the layout. Extra bathroom was very nice.
The only frustration with the kitchen was no silverware even though they provide glass dishes and glasses but no way to eat with it. When I asked for some I was given cheap, barely usable plastic fork packs. Not cool.
The gym was modern and worked great, my wife and I both enjoyed using it and there was plenty of room and equipment.
Overall the experience was great and made even better by Monique on my check out who took my return reservation. She was very warm and is a great example of a true customer service agent.
From the breakfast Buffet to the superb Valet service to the cleanliness to Staff like Terry Mandley head of security, everyone was top notch!! Great view from 17 and good time on 4th. 5 Stars!!
Terry is awesome! He ran off all the crazies! We felt so safe with him on guard.
Stay ready so you never have to get ready!

Great place to stay when you are traveling to Louisville. Ideally located close to the attractions of Whiskey Row and other downtown amenities and restaurants. Staff was courteous, rooms were clean and made up daily, parking was convenient and the downstairs lobby was comfy and inviting. I must particularly call out the above and beyond customer service of Head of Security / Supervisor Terry Mandley. My wife and I were standing out in front of the hotel by the Starbucks waiting for our airport Uber. Terry introduced himself asking after our stay, he was friendly and attentive. He went inside and we continued to wait. After several minutes he came back noticing our ride had not picked us up. We let him know that the Uber driver said he as there and we were concerned with missing our ride to the airport. Terry immediately knew that there can be confusion with Uber drivers based on the hotel address and the hotel fronting on multiple streets. He told us to stay in place while he literally ran down the block one way to the corner. Not finding our driver there he ran past us to the other corner and around the block. He came back to us through the hotel, had found the driver and had him waiting for us in the valet pick up area in the back of the hotel. My wife and I would have never connected with our driver had it not been for Terry's extraordinary customer service! We made it to the airport on time. Terry's help turned what could have been a stressful morning into an easy ride to the airport. Terry is a great representative for Hyatt Regency Louisville. Great hotel, great stay..................................... Rod & Valerie Lucio
Terry Mandley, Head of Security, and the rest of the staff were exceptional. So kind and welcoming-- and provided great service.
Terry the supervisor very professional and so friendly. Congrats Terry on your accomplishments with Hyatt ✨
My stay at the Hyatt Regency Louisville was excellent from beginning to end. I called to make my booking over the phone. My wait time was less than 3 minutes and the customer service agent was very helpful in booking my reservation.
When I arrived, I was able to park in a convenient spot located on the 3rd level of the garage, which led to a walkway that connected directly to the hotel. I rung a bell and was promptly buzzed inside without having to wait.
I was able to check-in via my mobile device and was able to retrieve my room key from customer service in mere moments. I was given a beautiful room with a view of the city which was very spacious, clean and comfortable.
After settling in, I got in a nice work out in the fitness center which had a decent amount of equipment which was included everything I needed for my training.
There were plenty of restaurants and dining options within a short walk of the hotel. I chose to dine at Sway, the hotel’s restaurant, for dinner. I got the salmon and wild rice with asparagus. Everything was tasty and very tender. It was nice that I was able to place my order from my phone. I was given a specific time to pick up my order which allowed me to shower before going downstairs to pick it up rather than sitting at the bar waiting for it to be prepared.
There appeared to be plenty of other activities and sights to see within the vicinity of the hotel. Unfortunately, time did not permit me to explore as much as I would have liked. Should I plan to return to Louisville in the future, I will definitely choose to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
My stay was wonderful! Everything was clean and comfortable. Terry, head of security, was always present and ready to help, and the front desk attendants were incredibly kind and warm. Highly recommend staying here!
