I liked the location of the room. It was almost right off the elevator. How nice the room looked.
We attended an event that we did not get back from until 10pm and there was nothing around the hotel or at the hotel to get to eat.
Included breakfast was a plus.
Parking. The hotel garage was full twice, which required me to park in an off-site garage that did not appear to have any security.
We had fantastic time at this hotel for several days this past week. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was delicious. But the best part was Terry Mandley, head of security. He was truly the kindest and most attentive person we have encountered in a long time. He went out of his way to ensure our group was taken care of and greeted us every day we were there! He is like family to us all now! We look forward to visiting again! Thank you Terry!
Terry Mandley, security supervisor was great to work with! Very personable, friendly, and a welcoming face every time we saw him! A customer experience that most people these days don’t have. Thank you!!
I had a nice time at a conference at the Hyatt Regency in April 2026 but I did not stay overnight. Everything was clean and of eating choices were close by. The lobby was great. The air conditioner was working overtime in the conference room so I was glad I had on sleeves. Terry Mandley, Supervisor for security, checked in with us multiple times. He did a great job in making me and others feel welcomed.
Hotel was a little dated. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I wish the railing in the hallways was a little higher as it poses a huge risk for smaller children.
Wonderful experience! Great amenities! Friendly and helpful staff! Highly recommend . Great location. The valet service was excellent. Made for very relaxing stay
Excellent stay. Terry from security was very professional and helpful and the front desk agent Legene went above and beyond. True hospitality superstars
We had a very nice stay! We were treated by the friendly valet who gave us info about parking even though use the actual valet services. The gentleman at the front desk was also very welcoming. He asked if we’d like a room on a higher floor as he noticed our son was very excited about riding the elevator up. Our room had a very cool view of the river. We enjoyed the small, but very clean pool. It had several towels available and convenient bathrooms. During checkout, Robyn and Loutfi were very helpful and kind. Again, we didn’t use the valet service but they were quick to help us load our luggage and offered well wishes as we headed out. Overall, a very nice stay!
The service and the quality of the room were excellent. Staff was friendly, and the room was clean, spacious and what I expected. The only disappointment was the noise level. The large atrium magnified noise level throughout the hotel. It did effect my sleep all three nights. Also, exterior street noise was pretty bad as well. Sound abatement could be approved.
Check in is late, rooms weren't ready for an hour after check in, there was no parking left for guests. We had to use a relatives room to get changed for the wedding we were attending. What is confusing is there was a block of rooms set aside for the wedding so to not have the rooms ready was very disappointing!
This hotel is located within steps of great places to eat. The restaurant onsite has an amazing breakfast buffet that has anything you’d want. The rooms were clean, parking was easy, check in was simple on the mobile app. The only suggestion I’d have is to allow people to choose their room location on the app ahead of check in. Other than that, 10/10 experience.
Louisville Hyatt Regency was nice, neat and organized. Terry the head of Security was very gracious and helpful.
Terry Mandley is the best! So friendly, so helpful! Always smiling. When I needed to put together a quick business meeting, Terry did everything needed to make it successful. He’s the man!!
My husband and I were here for a week and we had such a terrific experience!!!! The staff here is sooooooo nice!!!!! We booked with Denise and she's stellar!!! When we checked in we checked in with Aniket and he was wonderful. He was very attentive, kind, and professional. I got to interact with the manager, Laura Lee, and she is AMAZING!!! She was so warm, accommodating and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great experience. Terry was the head of security and I felt so safe and protected with him. He was always to be seen and went out of his way to open doors, escort, assist with carrying items. He was exceptional!!! We ate at the in house restaurant, Sway. OMG, the food and service there is WOW!!!! The brown butter salmon they have there is to die for. We ate at Bob's and Jeff Ruby's and the food at Sway was the best of the 3 and the least expensive. Our server was Fatou. I think she was dropped from heaven!!! What an incredible human being. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. She was attentive and made great, genuine recommendations. I would visit Louisville again just to see her and I'm not joking!!! The location of this hotel was terrific. I noticed that lots of pilots stay here. It's close to the airport and very walkable to everything in Downtown Louisville. Overall, we had a great stay at this Hyatt. They are renovating. It's not loud, but the rooms on the higher floors are super nice because they are renovated. So, I would request based off of that. I think the renovations should be completed this year. They started at the top and are working their way down (I think floor 13 when we were there mid March 2026). Also, I really liked the view I had that faced South and West. See pictures. I will say that the water pressure is excellent and the beds are very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a phenomenal stay here!!! We will be back for certain!!!!
I was in a new state, a new city, new hotel, and atmosphere entirely to attend a conference all by myself. I was a bit anxious and fearful of what could go wrong being alone. Because of the exceptional experience, professionalism, and genuine care and intent of the whole team at the Hyatt Regency in Louisville, specifically Laurice and Terry - my concerns dissipated immediately and remained that way for the duration of my stay. They made me feel welcome and at home. On top of the phenomenal staff - of note - the best staff I’ve ever encountered in any hotel experience, the room and common spaces were warm, welcoming, clean and well cared for.
Our stay was relaxing. Staff were helpful, location was great for the conference I was attending. The highlight though was when “Uncle Snoop” (aka Terry- Head of Security) took our family up to Spire to show the city. He made connections with the kids, found commonality with each of us, and gave ideas for things to do while in town. We hope to visit again another time, maybe we can make the Derby next time!
