I asked for check-in times to be earlier. They weren't granted and rooms were not close to each other, which I asked before.
The staff were excellent overall, with the restaurant managers truly making a difference. Davood was consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming, always creating a positive atmosphere and ensuring guests felt comfortable. That said, Sarah was absolutely outstanding. Every interaction I had with her was exceptional—she was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond at every opportunity. Her level of care, professionalism, and genuine kindness set her apart and made each visit especially memorable

Need more self parking spots
Location was 15mins from many places, reception staff and doormen was lovely!
Room smelt of damp, shower poor and bathroom needs upgrade. I paid for Mariana view but got side view so o rebooked carpark and bins which we heard emptied in the morning. Hotel very expensive, especially basics like parking and breakfast.Was not worth money I didn’t as was expecting more luxury.

Everything was great. Meal at the pelican took a long time to get. Like 40 minutes long.

Parking was crazy expensive! But the employees were kind & accommodating with every need we had. Bed were very comfortable! & my daughters loved the pool area.

Marina view was partial marina with the view of the hotel parking and the freeway so not entirely marina view. Sadly kinda a let down and not really what we wanted. Room was load because it was close to the freeway / street.
RED MARLIN TRASH - BREAKFAST NOT GOOD - honestly dont pay extra for the breakfast its not worth it one bit.

There was a time after issue, they cut off the water very long time. We asked for water but they didn’t bring all night.
They didn’t clean the room. I requested from front desk + left a note. When we came back it wasn’t clean still. We asked for towel but they didn’t bring it and we waited one hour in the midnight for them. We called 2 times and they promised to bring, but nothing. No water, no towel, room was messy. Only thing is they apologize every time but never fixes the issue.
Just stay away from this hotel as much as you can!!!

The location of the hotel is perfect for a getaway. Overlooking the bay, this property has some beautiful views. Property is pretty to look at. They also offer a shuttle service to SeaWorld and Old Town Transit center. Hotel is child and family friendly.
Facilities need upgrading and so does the service. We stayed in the tower room that had only 2 elevators. This meant waiting for upto 10-15 minutes at times to get to the first floor from our floor (11th).
Room service was just ok. They never provided enough towels and you had to call the front desk for additional towels.
Dining options are sparse. Since it is located in the mission bay and out of immediate access to eateries, having a cafe that serves coffee for longer than 2pm would be great.
The staff were great, especially the restaurant manager Sarah, I hav”d a problem at Red Marlin and when I we spoke she was incredibly kind and compassionate, made me feel valued and heard.
I travel frequently with work and every hotel has its issues, but tend to not handle service recovery very well. the way she handled it was great, working in hospitality myself, I see and recognize her talent, Hyatt really has a superstar with her and I hope they recognize that.
I called front desk twice before arrival and only once did someone pick up.
Front desk can get busy, but neglecting calls isn’t the way.
I asked for a dental kit upon checking in and was told they’ll send it to my room, that never happened. So when I did finally get one, the was no tooth brush in the kit… never once have I been provided a dental kit without a toothbrush inside. Very confusing
The property was beautiful with lots of greenery and foliage. The pool was heated and well maintained.
Both rooms we stayed in (we were moved for an upgrade fee after being bumped to a queen room instead of the king room we had booked) were scuffed and beaten up. The lights in the hallway did not work during the evening on our first night so finding our room in the pitch black was difficult. The shower of our first room had no shelf to put our own things on and there were no curtains and broken blinds. Second room was decent enough, but still not worth the price.
