Loved the Location — Minor Hiccups Along the Way

Overall, we had a nice stay. The rooms were clean, updated, and very comfortable. The location was everything — super convenient and close to everything we wanted to do, which made the trip even better. The staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

Parking is a little unusual and on the pricey side. It can be inconvenient if you need to run back to your car quickly, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker.

The only real issue we had was with billing. I was told the package I booked included breakfast, but we were later charged for it. I would just recommend double-checking your invoice and confirming what’s included in your package to avoid any surprises.

Overall, it was a good stay with just a few minor hiccups.

Very clean and great security!!
Pros:

The hotel was great. Very clean and high security, so I felt very safe throughout the trip. We had 2 queen beds, and they were very comfortable. The balcony was also a nice amenity. I would definitely stay there again. Polaris, the restaurant inside, was really cozy and had great food!

Stay at the Hyatt Regency - you cannot go wrong!
Pros:

My stay at the Hyatt was very enjoyable. First time in Atlanta and first time at a place like Hyatt. Great valet service. Very friendly staff. Very clean facility. Even has a Fedex office in it. Awesome high rise lobby with catacombs going up and the elevator rides were exhilarating. The room was clean and comfy. The restaurant was very good but know that they only open at 7 am on weekdays. Easy checkout process. Very convenient shuttle to the local convention center. 2 blocks away from Ray's, a great steak and seafood bar. I'd stay there again for sure.

The spot of Luxury overnight stay in Atlanta
Pros:

Absolutely stunning hotel. Amazing restaurant options and a very comfortable room. This is a very large hotel that just feels so luxurious the moment you walk in. Also loved that the valet parking retrieval was underground in a heated area so you don't have the chais of incoming and outgoing traffic in front of the hotel.

Far Below Hyatt Standards
Pros:

Extremely disappointed with my stay at Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Despite quiet hours, guests were loud until 2:30 a.m., the front desk was unresponsive, and my first room change request was denied. The second room was quieter but dated, with dusty carpeting that triggered allergies and no ventilation. Overall, poor staff responsiveness and lack of enforcement made this stay far below the standards I expect from Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

The Polaris restaurant is a 10 out of 10! The service was outstanding, our waitress was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food and drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere, even near the kitchen, didn’t take away from our enjoyment. Highly recommend the Polaris restaurant for a great meal and welcoming service!
