Everything was great
The property was in a fantastic location downtown only 2 blocks from a live music restaurant. We were also able to see a parade coming through downtown from our balcony.
I didn’t like seeing the homeless in close proximity to the hotel.
I booked a stay at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The rooms look very outdated, and the carpet felt extremely dusty and had a bad odor. The bed was squeaky, which made it uncomfortable to sleep. On top of that, the bathroom shower was awful, with very weak water pressure. Overall, the room did not meet my expectations.
I've stayed here before but the room wasn't the same as upper levels.

Horrible experience...old outdated rooms, poor customer service, horrible mediocre breakfast food. Skip this place, especially if you're a Hyatt member with any status, you'll be very disappointed. And don't waste any Hyatt suite upgrades for a room...completely not worth it, and a total waste.
This is a gem in downtown Atlanta. Even though it is 50 years old, the property's care and upkeep are apparent. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and some have balconies to enjoy the outdoors. The bar was well stocked, and the staff was efficient and well-trained. It was a great experience, and if I made it back to Atlanta, I would absolutely stay there again.
