- location near to Union Square
- good network hotel with pretty spacious room for San Francisco
- all facilities were present
- room was clean
We booked a room with the view but our windows were facing the back side so we didn’t achieve the expected overview of the city
Ubicación óptima, excelentes instalaciones
Nada
Sehr zentral. Gutes Gym. Betten super! Der Ausblick war Mega.
Ausstattung in die Jahre gekommen, Zimmer ist kleiner als auf den Bildern.
It was clean and in a good location for walking to other places
I had booked a room with 2 double beds for our family of 4. Double beds are much smaller in the US and so we needed to swap rooms in order to have enough beds. It meant 3 of us had to sleep in 1 king bed, while 1 child slept on a trundle bed.
Apart from booking 2 rooms, this hotel isnt really set up for families.
There was also testing of the elevators one of the days we were there. Notice was posted that this was happening however no plan was communicated for how we were to get up and down to our room. Lots of people we getting stuck and in the end a group of us used the fire stairs. I feel this situation was completely mismanaged and was poorly communicated.
extremely disappointed for how overpriced the hotel is compared to others and on top of that they have very poor hotel guest service and i won’t recommend this hotel at all.
the air conditioning is loud
The Grand Hyatt has an excellent location, which was definitely the highlight of my stay. However, the property could benefit from some updates. I noticed visible stains on the carpet in the restaurant, and the carpet in my Executive Suite also showed signs of wear.
I've stayed at many Hyatt properties around the world, and this maybe one of the noisier experiences I've had. The windows soundproofing could be improved, as I was awakened several times during the night by street noise and emergency vehicle sirens. (stayed in 19th floor)
Overall, the location is hard to beat, but some renovations and better noise insulation would greatly enhance the guest experience.
Great location and excellent staff members particularly Elizabeth from the front desk who helped me out due to some room allocations issues that was mismatched against booking.com . I enjoyed sitting at the bar at the mezzanine, and serviced by the most friendly bar staff.
This was not a great experience given our previous stay in Seattle with Grand Hyatt. If you expect help with luggage or a door being opened then lower your expectations, you won’t get help here, just stared at. Shower broke on very first use and had to get washed in sink as front desk wouldn’t answer. Housekeeping was good and location is great for getting around San Francisco. This was a huge letdown compared to our past visit to Grand Hyatt. Consider another place if you want staff to be helpful and not be overheard swearing at customers!
