Hyatt Regency Kinabalu

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my experience with World of Hyatt at Hyatt Regency Kinabalu.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay and truly appreciated the comfort and hospitality provided. One detail I genuinely value is that the hotel still provides a water hose in the bathroom. This is something many international and 5-star hotels no longer offer, yet it makes a significant difference for Muslim travellers like myself, as it brings a sense of ease and comfort, just like being at home.

The hotel is also very well located, with easy access to seafood spots and nearby attractions such as Anjung Kinabalu, making it convenient for guests to explore and enjoy the local experience.

I hope the hotel will continue maintaining these thoughtful features, as they truly enhance the overall stay. Thank you again for the wonderful service.

Lovely staff. Evenings go by the pool and watch the sun go down over the ocean with the bar serving you a beer. Facilities are clean and easily functional. Reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff are always smiling and willing to help. Everything near by. Boardwalk literally across the street.. Highly recommend visiting the hotel. Really enjoyed my stay.

It is located in the heart of the city. Hotel is well maintained and experienced staffs are helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. Will recommend my friends and love ones to come here.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hyatt Kota Kinabalu, and it was a truly exceptional experience! The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. My local friend who visited me was so impressed with the hotel. From seamless check-in to helpful recommendations, they made a huge difference. Would definitely recommend and return

Location fantastic. View across the street the waterfront. Shopping centres, food etc within walking distance. Staff helpful and polite. Discounts on food and drink if you are staying there. Huge room. Highly recommend.

A wonderful welcome from the team at Hyatt Regency and this made our Hari Raya celebration in Kota Kinabalu even more memorable and special. For us the greetings at the front desk is the beginning to a great/not great start. The staff genuine enthusiasm is key to make you feel welcome or otherwise. Arrival at Hyatt Regency was definitely a warm genuine welcome and our immediate thoughts - we will be back to Hyatt Regency for our next visit to treat ourselves and to be happy for the service we pay and receive. Thank you Hyatt for your hospitality and care. If you happen to be there during hari raya, don't missed out for their Hari Raya Buffet Dinner, delicious culinary experience for sure. We are definitely happy with our stay and the food and service we received.

Location: walking distance to many places. Went to the weekend Gaya Night Street Market and Sunday market. Just 2 blocks from the hotel.
Suria Sabah shopping mall also a couple blocks from the hotel. The Todak food market also 20ish mins walk.

Room space is big! Our standard room was also upgraded to City View room :)

Staff: very warm and welcoming. Informative and very helpful.

We came back to stay here after 10 years, and it was just as memorable. We were in KK for four nights and chose to spend our final night here.

One thing that stayed with us all these years was the buffet—and it certainly lived up to expectations. It’s easily one of the best hotel buffets. I’m not usually a buffet person, but we ended up enjoying both the dinner and breakfast, and the variety and quality were excellent.

The rooms may not be as modern as Hyatt Centric, but the service we received more than made up for it, it was truly warm and attentive throughout our stay.

The pool, bar, and spa facilities ticked all the boxes, making it a relaxing experience. As members, we also received some discounts, which was a lovely added bonus. There’s also a great café next door that’s worth visiting.

Overall, a wonderful stay and one that brought back great memories.
