Highly recommended hotel with incredible staff.
Pros:

I could not speak more highly about my 8 day stay here.
The location is perfect with views of the waterfront and sunset; the hotel was very clean; the bed was incredibly comfortable; the food and drinks in the restaurants were delicious, plentiful and high quality; and the staff were kind, caring and helpful.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in KK - wonderful for solo travellers, couples or families.

Cons:

Nothing - it was perfect, thank you.

Excellent stay in a Regebcy suite with regency club access.
Pros:

The staff in the regency lounge were excellent. We requested to move to a higher floor due to outside noise and this was done without question. The choice of food in the regency lounge was varied every evening and good quality of food and choice.

Cons:

Floor 5 executive king suite was too noisy on the Friday night but nothing the hotel can do about this.

Great hotel for exploring KK.
Pros:

Good location
Pros:

Great location for walking to everything. The staff were helpful. The pool is nice with comfortable loungers. The rooms are large and spacious

Cons:

It’s a bit dated for the price but it’s okay :)
The balcony overlooking reception is just silly. There was not enough place to hang dry clothes

Beautiful sunset view and excellent hotel amenities
Pros:

The food was amazing, we ate here almost everyday during our 5 night stay and they have a great variety of options and everything is cooked really well. The view from our room was a beautiful spot to watch the sunset, as is the sunset view from the pool. The gym, sauna and steam rooms are all well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful and were excellent at helping me with food options catering for my allergies.

Nothing, it was excellent.

Comfort, Convenience & Thoughtful Touches at Hyatt Regency Kinabalu

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my experience with World of Hyatt at Hyatt Regency Kinabalu.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay and truly appreciated the comfort and hospitality provided. One detail I genuinely value is that the hotel still provides a water hose in the bathroom. This is something many international and 5-star hotels no longer offer, yet it makes a significant difference for Muslim travellers like myself, as it brings a sense of ease and comfort, just like being at home.

The hotel is also very well located, with easy access to seafood spots and nearby attractions such as Anjung Kinabalu, making it convenient for guests to explore and enjoy the local experience.

I hope the hotel will continue maintaining these thoughtful features, as they truly enhance the overall stay. Thank you again for the wonderful service.
