The location and esthetics of the hotel were awesome. The staff was extremely friendly and the room was the best. The bed was amazingly comfortable.
Great hotel. Super close to airport and cruise terminal. Spacious and clean rooms. We loved the on-site dining options. Breakfast was excellent. Overall we really enjoyed our one night stay and it was a great start to our vacation.
I love everything about the property, the room, especially because I had a suite and it was large enough to send my daughter to her prom sendoff.
The only thing that I didn’t like about the property was the parking situation. Meaning if you don’t valet it’s very hard to find parking but other than that I had no issues.
Great hotel for the business side of New Orleans. Food options surrounding the hotel require a walk, but isn't that bad. Just take care in the dark as there were several individuals in the neighborhood that looked like they needed more for their basic needs. Parks were locked to prevent homeless from sleeping in them. You can catch the trolley and bus system not far from this hotel, which was a plus. Typically hotels have the lobby, a restaurant, and restaurants on one floor. This one doesn't, you must ride an escalator to the third floor for their two restaurants. Starbucks is on the second level, and the gift shop is as well. Regarding the gift shop it was nice, and had snacks available. However, it closed early and if you expect snacks after 9pm just forget it, you will have to go to the third floor for any food which is not inexpensive. The other oddity about this hotel was access to the rooms. We helped various folks access rooms as it was confusing. However, by the time you do this it is quite easy and the wait for an elevator in the sized hotel was short. If you wander around the third and second floor you can find yourself in a pickle if you don't pay attention to where the stairs, escalators, or elevators take you.
This hotel is very nice & centrally located. Everything we wanted to see or do was close by. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. I was there for a conference on this trip. When I go back with family I will absolutely stay at this hotel.
The hotel was beautiful and accommodating. However, charges to my personal debit card instead of the authorized corporate cc were unexpected. This inconvenience caused drastic financial impact that I am still waiting for the hotel to rectify. The staff provided no substantial assurance that refunds would be issued, no explanation of those charges (no idea what they were for & did not align to room rates or room service), nor did they apologize for this error. This resulted in unexpected financial strain that affected my entire experience in NOLA & my travel back home. I am still waiting for these charges to be personally reimbursed after they "moved the charges to the corporate cc". I was honestly shocked at the lack of apology & empathy that this mistake had on my trip.
Overall was great. Clean and comfortable, walking distance from most spots in city.
Was a little over priced for what I got but I guess that’s to be expected when an event is on.
Smelly room. No bed just a pullout couch in a large suite. Clogged sink. Extemely expensive for a room with the basic amenities.
The property location was perfect. It was walking distance for the event at the Smoothie King Center. Staff were very friendly, but professional and helpful, especially Jeff and David.
This Hyatt hotel really impressed me with its amenities and quality of the service. I'm especially grateful to Chris McDowell, Assitant Director of Operations for his courtesy and willingness to help. Excellent location within walking distance to French Quarter and other New Orleans attractions.
Convenient location to restaurants, shopping and entertainment
Asking customers if they want to use the card on file -vs- just charging the card on file.
Great amenities, close to the French Quarter (Short uber drive), helpful and friendly staff/concierge, gym on top floor is excellent. Dining options and Starbucks on site, excellent. Cleanliness of rooms great. Right behind the Ceasar's Superdome (visible from hotel elevators).
Staff was nice. Very centrally located.
The beds needed to be replaced and the rooms updated. Service at the Italian Steakhouse was very slow for only being the 2nd table. More interested in clearing away the unneeded place setting than getting our drinks ordered and out to us.
Petit déjeuner fabuleux
Le personnel et particulièrement celui de l’accueil
The staff is exceptional. The place is very clean, and the atmosphere is very nice. I'd stay there again for sure, but they need to get rid of Starbucks, that charged $11 for a cup of coffee.
Stayed at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans and was extremely pleased with the entire property. LOVED the Fitness Center and enjoyed both restaurants at which I ate.
