Big Easy visit
Pros:

Nice accommodation. Walkable to French Quarter and WWII museum. The CBD was quiet when we were there over the weekend.

Needs better acknowledgment for guest accommodation requests with out visible disabilities
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful, as expected. Room, bathroom and bed linens were clean. I specifically requested an accessible room but it was not acknowledged at check-in. I believed the front desk was working in the effort of being discreet and not blasting it in front of other guest, but when I finally made it up to my room, that is when I realized it. Because I don’t have a physically visible disability, I was placed in a regular room to meet the needs of the hotel during this busy event time. My night did not go well at all. All of the physically beautiful things about the hotel did not matter in the moments when I had to face my disability limitations head on and alone. The beauty is superficial.

Outdated Rooms
