Just that much better than the other (excellent) Hyatts.
Pros:

I stay at many Hyatt's when I travel to conventions away from home. I hope to always stay at a Hyatt Regency. I always have a great experience.
I have to say, the Lexington location struck me as a cut above the rest (which are already excellent.)
If you dine there, ask to speak to Loretta. She runs the joint and she will make you feel like family.

Great Hotel
Pros:

Great hotel with a great staff. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and valet parking was efficient.

Pros:

The location, it was connected directly to the convention center and Rupp Arena.

The midnight crew was awesome. They took care of checking me in at 2AM. There was then an issue with the room, but it was handled professionally and within 2 minutes I was on my way to a different room, 10 out 10 recommend

When the bathroom sink fills will sewer water from next room

Pros:

The bed was great, the shower needed more pressure and since it was in a perfect location the cars and sirens were very loud, I would stay again though.

Why do you make us wait?!
Pros:

We have stayed there before and we know this is an older hotel but having to wait in the lobby for 1.5 hours past check - in time, was ridiculous! We were told we were getting an upgrade as compensation, but I have seen them do this before and our room, after the wait, was actually a downgrade with old scarred/scratched furniture and ugly ceilings and walls.
