Hotel for meeting.
Pros:

I attended a meeting here. The meeting space was fine. The lobby was nice and the people friendly. The food at the meeting was decent and the hotel seemed very clean.

Pros:

The Hyatt Regency Minneapolis was such a pleasant surprise that it set the tone for what turned out to be an amazing weekend. The quality of the room and the spectacular view from room 1710 put us at ease, making it so easy for us to enjoy our two-day visit in Minneapolis, where we experienced a wedding on Saturday and Mother's Day on Sunday!

A week at the Hyatt
Pros:

The hotel is clean, in walking distance to many places and the onsite restaurant is pretty good; especially the buffet breakfast. The gym is state of the art and if the pool stayed open an hour or two long, it would be perfect!

I was there fir a 3 day conference. Hotel was nice and quiet.
Pros:

It is a nice spacious hotel.

Cons:

Not particularly about the property itself. But I wish the staff would’ve been more informative. I parked in the self parking attached to the hotel. I was told it would cost $30 for the duration of my stay. But when I left, I paid $80. The hotel should not advertise on their website false information.

What a lovely upgrade !
Pros:

Located nicely in downtown Mpls, close to the convention center and walkable to the ballpark, Target Center, lots of restaurants and more, this was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel has underdone really nice upgrades with clean and modernized capacity, very large rooms, good common areas, and really nice amenities. There is a visible commitment to sustainability, nice food and beverage choices, and a seriously Minnesota Nice staff. Would absolutely recommend staying here if in the area.

Will never stay here again.
Pros:

Hotel is dusty. If you have allergies, you will be in trouble.
The staff does not answer questions accurately.
Trying to resolve a billing issue has been a nightmare.

Great stay
Pros:

Everyone was kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Great restaurants are nearby. The bed was great! We ate at the restaurant once, and it was good. Most mornings we grabbed coffee and a small breakfast at the coffee shop.

Great customer service!
Pros:

We stayed here for a convention and coinciding birthday celebration. The hotel staff, including front desk and cleaning staff, went above and beyond to help us get items we had forgotten (e.g. electric kettle, scotch tape, extra pillows) and make the weekend special! 10/10 for customer service. Would absolutely recommend to anyone Staying in the Minneapolis area.

Great time at Hyatt Regency Minneapolis

Great Hyatt visit March 2026
Pros:

Excellent service and caring by the staff was above and beyond. Good value, ease of access to restaurants and activities in downtown Minneapolis. Great atmosphere and quick response even during busy times. Everyone was friendly, professional and made me feel like family. Rooms have plenty of space and amenities. I’ll be back.

The Hyatt is an amazing hotel, close to the convention center, and full of wonderful staff and amenities. Great lobby for socializing with a group and an excellent coffee shop, with everything you could want in a hotel.
