The bed was very comfortable, though the sheets had some interesting stains on them.
The bathroom was absolutely filthy.
the location of the motel was great
The rooms... the internet makes it look like the balcony is outdoors, but it's actually indoors, and when a performance is in the lobby, it's really annoying at night.
Location, the hotel itself was nice, and the room was large. The beds were comfortable, and the room layout was good.
Need to get rid of those carpets in the rooms; they look old, and who knows what's in them. The patio door going out to the patio was screwed shut, no way to open it and go out to the patio. (Room 407). With such a nice-sized room, you wonder what the designers were thinking about when they decided on the bathroom size. Although modern, it's the size of a closet, very cramped. Valet parking was convenient and fast, but you pay a high price, $50 a day plus tip and fees.
Lobby, was nice. Sun deck was pleasant with nice views
Beds didn’t have blankets, very thin layers to sleep in had to turn the air off
No breakfast
The communication at check in was not good. Also the communication between the valet and us didn't exist. Didn't know where to pick up car. No one said it would be on p3.
Location 10. We were right at the river walk in the middle of all the action. Room 10. The room was modern with all the comforts of home with a splash of vacation. View 10. We had a great view on a quiet floor relatively close to the elevators for easy and quick access to all the action.
I have no dislikes. My only constructive feedback is the photo backdrop in the lobby could have been presented better. The hotel as a whole is staged so beautifully and in the middle is a lack luster backdrop with a cheap stand. Adding a drapery panels on each side would make that area look luxury instead of cheap/busted.
The location. The room. The staff.
The valet service. I did not want to sign in to an account to register for valet parking. I paid at reception. When I tried to retrieve me car I was rather aggressively told I had to sign up to the valet service, provide me email and phone number before I would be allowed my car. I understand that the valet service is separate to the hotel, but it still represents the hotel and is an agent do the hotel. If I can pay via reception, there should be no issue retrieving my car. I did not want to sign in to an account that would very clearly then bombard me with junk email. If the company requires authentication of payment from the hotel, that is an administrative issue that rests with the hotel and the company, not the client. I paid, and I had a receipt of payment. I was very disappointed with the service and attitude of the valet company. So much so, that I question whether I would choose to stay in the hotel again because of this experience.
The room was nice and the location of the hotel was perfect.
They don’t tell you until you check in that every guest after you and one guest is $25 plus taxes and fees per night for a wristband because you have to show the security before you get on the elevator and use it on the elevator. It was around $100 in total. This was St. Patrick’s weekend so it might be different for other times. You can either pay for your own parking or get valet ($50 a night), which was the cheaper option. When I went down for valet, it was a whole mess and very crowded in that room. After waiting in line, I finally was upfront and they told me you had to request your car in the app which wasn’t told to me at all. After I got on the app and requested the car, I was like 14th in line and had to wait again. So I waited the valet called out different names. Some people were there, some of them were not. It was very disorganized.
Loved the location and the staff was very nice!
You have absolutely no control over inconsiderate guests but the room doors close so hard, it shakes the rooms around it when a guest doesn’t catch it and slows its closure.
Very convenient to River Street and other Savannah attractions
Everything was good
