The shower would not provide hot water. At best it was tepid. It’s winter and the comfort of a nice hot shower is very important. This would prevent me from booking again.
Outstanding view, very clean and professional staff!!!
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The view from the room of the inner harbor.
The service at this hotel was horrible, after having reservations 6 months prior we arrived and had to wait over 5 hours to check into our rooms. This was unacceptable and a major inconvenience.
We paid in full for this hotel for valentines day. We have ALL confirmations..so before the company says anything negative against us..we have proof and did nothing wrong. We had confirmed emails and an email to check in which we did. 2 hrs before check in the cancelled our reservation..long story short and one ruined 40th anniversary..we stayed at Hunt Valley with a view of a parking lot! I guess someone got our valentines day view.
Poor Baltimore isn't what it used to be. All the restaurants and upscale stores have closed, the Inner Harbor was a ghost town and it just feels dead. The hotel had a pretty good price and is adjacent to the Convention Center where I was going, but that's all i can say. Breakfast wasn't free as stated on the web- it was $38 for poor hotel fare, there was nothing in the room about checkout time, meal service, ice etc. The info provided by the front desk was mostly closed restaurants. The hotel itself is a maze from the garage to the rooms to the lobby without clear signage. There is one small restaurant, the food was decent but hurried and a limited menu. The room was a bit on the small size but ok. Baltimore needs to do better,
The experience at this hotel was awful. This place literally destroyed our Valentine's Day. This hotel sold an event through Eventbrite. We bought tickets on for A Night To Remember! Valentine’s Day Dinner For Two because of this event, we also reserved a Romantic Getaway Package at the hotel. It was absolutely terrible from the beginning. When we arrived at the hotel during check-in, we paid considerably more than was quoted when we booked the reservation. In the room they did not have anything that was promised when we bought the Romatic Giveaway. I called and someone brought the items to the room but doing that took away from the experience. Plus there was no hand soap in the bathroom. I had no idea this was a BYOS establishment. Was disappointing and we got no apology for the mistakes. Then, as icing on the dreadful cake, we went to the A Night to Remember Event only to learn that it was canceled although we received no notification or refund. This establishment is an absolute mess. If you want just a basic place to sleep while in Baltimore this is okay but if you are celebrating anything this place will ruin it for you. Avoid if you can.
Location and Looks
Noisy road outside. Not the hotel’s problem.
Exceptional, professional, friendly staff! Amazing valet service. Comfortable beds. Very clean
Check-in and clerj astutely asked if I wanted an upgrade to the top floor which had a great view. I appreciated and took advantage of as it had a lovely view.
Price of parking
The location great for a tournament at the convention center. Also close to a lot of restaurants. Room was very nice. Employees very helpful.
Good location to convention center, sky bridge was closed. Main reason why we booked the hotel. Guest services rushed check in. Asked for additional bedding that we never received so we had to use blankets from home.
