Lesson Learned. I usually stay at Marriott as I am an Envoy member. I will be careful in the future
Pros:

The room and beds were fine. Bathroom had large vanity so plenty of room to get ready.

Cons:

When I booked I paid for an included breakfast. This was the first Marriott or any other hotel that the included breakfast that was not a buffet. and didn't even include coffee. I had requested the breakfast option to be removed but as it was through booking.com, Marriott was unable to comply with request. I asked that monies paid for breakfast the last day (which we couldn't use as we had an early flight) be credited to outstanding breakfast charges. I was told no as $20 credit per person was per day not a sum total. We exceeded the charges on day 1 and day 2 and would need to pay the balance.

Disappointed
Pros:

Great location, very close to a lot of restaurants, shops and other conveniences. Great room with a lovely view. Great coat closet, cabinets to put your things in. A lounge area to relax in and a desk with chair, comfortable bed and I got extra blankets that made my sleep very nice and warm. Free bottle of water and watering stations on certain floors and at the lobby. I got extra toilet paper that made it convenient.

Cons:

It was a full house the time that I stayed. I don't think the hotel had enough room attendant staff that was able to refresh the rooms because I came back to my hotel room after the day and it was still not refreshed the whole weekend. They did refresh them close to past the end of the day but they were in such a rush that they forgot to refill the toiletries that was already close to empty when I checked in. They were in such a rush that they left the dirty glasses and forgot to replace them for new ones. Had to request for a kettle for hot water but there was none available. Had to go to the restaurant to get hot water which was horrible because of course the servers were very busy. Had to request for mugs because it's not already provided. Didn't have other toiletries like mouth wash and things in case you forget some things at the little convenient market at the hotel.

Short term inconvenience for a really comfortable stay
Pros:

Downtown, close to the wedding we attended. EXCELLENT breakfast

Cons:

Downtown is really awkward convenience due to the city construction, parking and driving a bit of a nightmare with road closures and detours

Comfortable hotel, but beware of their breakfast scam
Pros:

Room decor was good and bed was comfortable. Room was quiet and secure.
Foyer has a fireplace and a starbucks.

Cons:

Booking.com charged me $40 for breakfast when I booked that option, but when i came down for breakfast in the morning it was just an a la carte menu with most items in the $20-30 range. I had to rush for a meeting so I only had 10 minutes for breakfast which was not enough time to prepare a meal - no buffet option. I ended up buying a pastry at Starbucks! Was inclined to go outside to find some homeless person in need of a meal and give them my breakfast credit, but no time....

Marriot would not refund me the $40 as they said it was a 3rd party restaurant providing the breakfast. What a scam. $480 CAD per night with no breakfast.
Avoid booking with breakfast unless you have half an hour minimum and you're not in a rush! Better idea, you can always just buy breakfast when you arrive, and avoid wasting $40 on a bowl of granola!

Pros:

Hotel was amazing! When we arrived at 9 am, they were able to put us in a room, allowing us to sleep for several hours due to our early am flight. This was an incredible gesture.
