Hyatt Regency - Greenville

I had a bad reaction to some medicine, the staff was very accommodating.

The hotel has very friendly and helpful staff! Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean! I enjoyed my stay and will return.

The meal at Roost was outstanding and so was the setting and service. A wonderful dining

The hotel was fine but dog in room beside us barked all night and woke us up again at 6:00am. When we told staff they responded with I’m sorry there is nothing we can do! They didn’t even comp breakfast or help in anyway! Very disappointed!

The location was perfect and for the majority of my stay, the hotel was perfect. The room, however, smelled like musty cigarettes. As if someone had smoked and it was covered with an aerosol spray. The room was advertised as non-smoking. I suffer from migraines when I'm around cigarettes. This was not fresh cigarette smell, but a smell as if it had been smoked in previously for years. The room and hotel were clean, it was just the smell in the hotel room that was an issue.

Very convenient to everything in the downtown area.

This is a beautiful hotel located in downtown Greenville SC. The staff in it's entirety renders exceptional service from the front desk to the restaurant, to the coffee shop! Several shops and attractions to see in walking distance. Hyatt Regency is the perfect home away from home!

The only negative experience I had was realizing I had received several bed bug bites. Positive experience was that I had inadvertently left some shirts in the room by accident. After filing a lost item claim, the shirts were found and will be mailed to me. I was thankful for that.

Overall, the experience at this hotel was good otherwise. It is in a very convenient location and in a nice, safe area. I was attending March Madness at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena and the hotel was a very easy 10-minute walk to the arena.

Was perfect! There was enough space for hundreds of dancers and a st Patrick’s festival in the area going on. Very spacious and everyone was so nice.

It was by far one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve seen.

I was in town on a business trip, and stayed at the Hyatt Regency Greenville. What an amazing hotel all around! The f&b, housekeeping and front desk teams were wonderful! The room was cozy, bed was perfect. I can’t wait until I can come back with my family to explore the city.

Hyatt Regency Greenville is a fabulous hotel. Beautifully kept, with a great staff. The property is a must to visit, and a short walk to the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Parking is super reasonable, at adjacent lot ($10!!).

A special Thank You to staff member Mitchell Dill. While stuck in a travel bind, a call to the hotel was necessary. Mr.Dill listened patiently and made the check in process for family a breeze. Other accommodations as well.

Honestly, my fingers are still cramped from just writing a review on their site. The number of bad decsions they made from room layout to cheaping out on soooo many things (They'll tell you they're being eco concious). You're literally paying for location. And they know it. Let me just say to give you an idea as to what to expect. The two bottles of water set out so nicely and what you assume at first glance would be complimentary. NOT! $6 a piece. That's just for starters. $25 breakfast, No matter what you order. NO luggage trolleys unless you want to tip a worker in the lobby for their help after you made the longest part of the trek from the parking garage. And NO refrigerators for your meal leftovers. Again, that's just for starters. If youhave disposable income and don't care about wasting your food leftovers after eating out at a nice restaurant since there's no place to put it. Or paying $6 for water. Or tipping for a luggage cart that only produces itself after you did the hardet part of the trip. Only to be met by a front desk clerk who barely acknowledges you. Then this hotel is perfect for you! ENJOY!

I recently stayed at this hotel for a business trip, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing—exactly what I needed after long sessions. The room was quiet, well-appointed, and comfortable, making it easy to unwind and recharge.

Overall, it’s an ideal choice for anyone looking to balance productivity with relaxation during a business stay. I would definitely return.

Upon arrival, I was asked by the Customer Service Representative for my card for payment, at that time the payment was declined because I had not been informed via online booking or in any documentation that there would be a $100 additional fee added for incidentals.The front desk clerk did not give me a total before attempting to run my card, and was not going to even mention the additional $100 if I had not inquired about why the card was not going through because I had put the exact amount for the total that I had been sent in the check-in invoice. I told the gentleman that this was not expected and if someone did not have the additional $100 they would not have been able to stay and we booked several months in advance for a dance competition. He brushed off my comment did not seem concerned. He just continued ask me “ma’am are you going to swipe your card again?” I did not appreciate the lack of empathy nor the hidden fee that we were told about upon running my credit card.

I also selected to have a rollaway bed, and extra linens with my online reservation. I was told my this same front desk representative that the hotel did not have rollaway beds. So my daughter did not have anywhere to sleep and had to smushed in the bed with myself and husband. We were staying here for and dance convention/competition so sleeping arrangements were made bases upon this request. It was very disappointing for us and getting an adequate night sleep was impossible.

Greenville, SC
Greenville has renovated the down town area to appeal to many travelers and residents alike. The hotel address is easy access to Event destinations and Main Street restaurants/galleries. The room was extraordinarily comfortable. Within walking distance of everything down town.

The location and atmosphere of this hotel was top notch! I highly recommend whether for work or pleasure! The room was spotless. The public (sort of) restrooms were very clean. I appreciate that you must have a room key to ride the elevator up. All staff that I encountered were very polite. It was a great selection for this conference BTW - Their air conditioning system works!! Brrrr in some of the session rooms but I understand that this was requested because of the umber of people in attendance
