Grand Hyatt Seoul

I recently visited the Terrace for the first time since its renovation, and I was truly impressed by the experience. What made my visit especially memorable, however, was the exceptional hospitality and genuine kindness shown by Kim Yoon-mi, Manager Park Ye-jin, Kim Ji-yeon, Lisa, and Chang, Eun-ho. I apologize if I have not spelled their English names correctly, but I sincerely hope the hotel can identify them and convey my appreciation to each of them.
I will be forever grateful for the way they welcomed and cared for my 80-year-old father and his friends. Their service went far beyond professionalism. They treated them with genuine warmth, patience, attentiveness, and, most importantly, respect. It was clear that their kindness was not simply part of their job, but came from their heart.
Whenever I visit Korea, I sometimes feel that older guests can be overlooked or receive less attention in busy restaurants. That is why my experience at the Terrace was particularly meaningful to me. The staff made my father and his friends feel valued, comfortable, and genuinely welcomed throughout their visit. Seeing them treated with such are meant more to me than I can express in words.
The newly renovated Terrace is beautiful, but it was the people who made our experience truly exceptional like Ms. Kim, Yoon-mi. Park, Ye-jin, Kim, Ji-yeon, Lisa, and Mr. Chang, Eun-ho. Please extend my sincere appreciation to all of the staff members mentioned above. Their professionalism and kindness left a lasting impression on me and my family and made this visit a very special memory.
I will definitely return to the Terrace. I will also be very happy to recommend and promote the Terrace to my friends. An experience like this reminds me that genuine hospitality is not only about beautiful surroundings or excellent food, but about how people make you and your loved ones feel.

We had a fantastic couples massage and a great experience in the Spa. The experience was very professional, relaxing, and one to remember. A-Young and Sana did an excellent job. We will definitely return if we visit Seoul again.

Our server at the Terrace Kitechen, Tommy Lee, was truly exceptional. He was incredibly kind and attentive, always noticing what we needed and taking care of it before we even had to ask. His thoughtful and genuine service made our family breakfast a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. Thank you, Tommy, for making our morning so special!

Wonderful experience. Great breakfast buffet spread. Staff were amazing: Sally, Dave, Tommy Lee, Helia, Catherine, Kayla and Yun-Ju were supper attentive and always ready to attend to our every needs. Can't wait to go back and visit.

Massive hotel with massive overcrowding. Long lines for check in and every elevator ride. Screaming kids everywhere. Property is fine otherwise and staff are trying. Rooms especially the tiny bathrooms need an overhaul to update them. Location is away from action.

Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was great! Our servers Stella and Irene took great care of us!

Excellent Stay with Outstanding Hospitality

I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hyatt Seoul during a recent work trip. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is excellent with a great variety of high-quality options.

What really stood out, though, was the warm hospitality from Helia, Mark, and Yun Mi at the breakfast buffet. They made me feel genuinely welcome every morning, and their kindness and attentive service made a lasting impression.

A fantastic hotel with exceptional staff. I look forward to staying here again the next time I’m in Seoul.

​I strongly advise thinking twice before staying here.
​We planned to use the hotel shuttle bus to get to the subway station, but we were refused entry by the driver twice in a row for no valid reason. What made a bad situation even worse was the hotel staff's complete indifference. After the first two incidents, they offered zero apology, zero explanation, and zero support. They simply did not care.
​It was only on our third attempt that the staff finally stepped in and got us onto the shuttle.
​A shuttle service is supposed to be a convenient amenity, not a stressful ordeal. The driver’s unacceptable behavior combined with the front desk’s total lack of empathy and accountability made this a miserable experience. I will definitely not be returning and strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Great Staff! Great Service! Great View! Great Hotel! Would recommend to everyone who is visiting Seoul. I want to go back again soon.

Location Location Location! No hotel in Seoul can beat this location. It is center of the Seoul. The view from Grand Hyatt Seoul covers entire Seoul.
Seriously I would pay premium price for views and feeling of owing entire Seoul.

"I had a fantastic stay at the Grand Hyatt Seoul! The overall service was exceptional, and the food throughout the hotel was excellent. I especially want to commend the staff at the deli for being so helpful and welcoming. A huge highlight was the breakfast—it was absolutely great with an amazing selection.As a loyal Hyatt member, I was especially impressed by their elite recognition. I was a Globalist for years but have recently transitioned to Explorist. However, their high standard of service did not stop there. The staff went above and beyond, delivering an exceptional level of care that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel!"

My sister and I recently visited the Grand Hyatt Seoul and had such a wonderful experience! We tried The Terrace Kitchen for the first time, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious (especially the LA gal I), there was a great variety to choose from, and the atmosphere was spacious and nice.

What truly made our visit extra special was the incredible hospitality. Every member of the staff we encountered was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive. We’d especially like to thank Stella and Eunhyo Jang, who went above and beyond to make our time at our dinner memorable. She was so thoughtful and even took a Polaroid photo of my sister and me for us to keep as a souvenir!

It’s rare to come across service that feels so warm and personal. Thank you to Stella, Eunhyo, and the entire Grand Hyatt team for making our visit such a memorable one. We can’t wait to come back!
