Das Hotel war voll ausgebucht und 2 Aufzüge sind sehr wenig um die Menge an Personen zu transportieren
This was the third hotel our family/group of 7 stayed at during our trip to Korea. We would probably rank it our third favorite. We are all planning a return trip but will most definitely not stay at this hotel. We liked the boutique luxury feel of some of the other hotels we stayed at. The Grand Hyatt in Seoul felt more like a big box Disneyland like resort. The lobby area was constantly packed with people. The lobby lounge required reservations to even sit in there (one night we waited for over an hour and ended up leaving). It would seem there’s a lot of locals that visit the hotel either to eat or hang out, and you would think the hotel would or could prioritize hotel guests. They were extremely strict at breakfast but could not seem to enforce that same rigidity elsewhere. This place was constantly bustling, and the elevators were absolutely the worst and ridiculous part of this place. There’s only four and two service the upper floors and two service the bottom. I have no idea how the elevators work but it does not seem efficient. The wait for the elevators were always insane. And the worst part was when one of the elevators was reserved and had some guy in a suit standing outside of it with the elevator roped off. Given how long the wait for the elevators were to begin with, having one less elevator just exacerbated the issue particularly for the upper floors.
All that to say, our group decidedly will not return (our party had four rooms). It seems this hotel is a favorite of locals and dignitaries so it won’t ever suffer business loss. Not our speed though!
The facilities and staff are five stars. Helpful and always friendly
Special thanks to Malone, Ash, Helia, Dae, Mark, Robin, Sunny, mi-young and Irene
Lia was amazing! I had a really stiff back and she helped my muscles relax. Thank you!
It is on the nice location at the Nam Mountain with good view of City. Especially, in the evening, the light from the building looks like starry night. So Beutiful. Room is slightly small but managable. Staffs were kind and nice. Kyle at the front desk was kind and explains available services well. Bell desk staffs are well trainned too. Actually, all the staffs in Hotel such as Terras restaurant, club house, cleaning staffs are wonderful. Nice experience.
Very good place, good food, good view. it is my pleasure to stay here, and it is my good experience in Korea. Everything is perfect for my first time here.
Spa treatment at Grand Hyatt Seoul was excellent!
highly recommended
This was our third time visiting Seoul, and staying at the Grand Hyatt Seoul made this trip our favorite yet. We’ve always preferred the quieter, scenic atmosphere of the river‑north side of the city over Gangnam, and this hotel fits perfectly with that vibe.
The absolute standout of our stay was the spa experience. We booked a couple’s massage with Luna and Sana, and it was phenomenal. Their technique, attention to detail, and calming presence made the session incredibly restorative. It was exactly what we needed before a long flight back to the US.
Such a great experience and excellent service! Thank you Lia!
I've gotten a lot of massages before and this is the best!! This is my second time and both times I had Lia as my therapist. She's very professional and did a wonderful job helping me to relax my muscles. I highly recommend!
Exceptionnel ! Élégance et calme
Hôtel très propre, chic, calme et très bien placé pour visiter la N Séoul Tower notamment.
Petit déjeuner exceptionnel avec vue sur Séoul !
Tout était parfait
The hotel is situated at the top of the hill so it has spectacular views of Seoul. It's adjacent to Namsan Park, the city's largest park with trails leading to N Seoul Tower and rendy Itaewon. The hotel is also near Leeum Museum and a short walk to a Subway station.
No place to sit in the lobby without having to pay for drinks or services. The lobby and just about all parts of the hotel is optimized for monetization. All the restaurants in the hotel are pricy. There are no casual fare option at the hotel. We stayed there for 4 days and there's no such thing as an easy way to catch a cab ride from the hotel. You must have an Uber App to order a car. During peak hours, wait can be as long as 30 minutes.
