Grand Hyatt Seoul

​I strongly advise thinking twice before staying here.
​We planned to use the hotel shuttle bus to get to the subway station, but we were refused entry by the driver twice in a row for no valid reason. What made a bad situation even worse was the hotel staff's complete indifference. After the first two incidents, they offered zero apology, zero explanation, and zero support. They simply did not care.
​It was only on our third attempt that the staff finally stepped in and got us onto the shuttle.
​A shuttle service is supposed to be a convenient amenity, not a stressful ordeal. The driver’s unacceptable behavior combined with the front desk’s total lack of empathy and accountability made this a miserable experience. I will definitely not be returning and strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Great Staff! Great Service! Great View! Great Hotel! Would recommend to everyone who is visiting Seoul. I want to go back again soon.

Location Location Location! No hotel in Seoul can beat this location. It is center of the Seoul. The view from Grand Hyatt Seoul covers entire Seoul.
Seriously I would pay premium price for views and feeling of owing entire Seoul.

The Terrace has best breakfast buffet deal packages. My family of 4 had the best vacation ever in the middle of the Seoul.

I especially want to commend the staff at the deli for being so helpful and welcoming. A huge highlight was the breakfast—it was absolutely great with an amazing selection.As a loyal Hyatt member, I was especially impressed by their elite recognition. I was a Globalist for years but have recently transitioned to Explorist. However, their high standard of service did not stop there. The staff went above and beyond, delivering an exceptional level of care that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel!"

My sister and I recently visited the Grand Hyatt Seoul and had such a wonderful experience! We tried The Terrace Kitchen for the first time, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious (especially the LA gal I), there was a great variety to choose from, and the atmosphere was spacious and nice.

What truly made our visit extra special was the incredible hospitality. Every member of the staff we encountered was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive. We’d especially like to thank Stella and Eunhyo Jang, who went above and beyond to make our time at our dinner memorable. She was so thoughtful and even took a Polaroid photo of my sister and me for us to keep as a souvenir!

It’s rare to come across service that feels so warm and personal. Thank you to Stella, Eunhyo, and the entire Grand Hyatt team for making our visit such a memorable one. We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed 2 nights with wife and teenage daughters. This was a beautiful hotel woth great food, although expensive, which was expected. The kids mostly enjoyed the pool, although the "no toys" rule was lame, kids couldn't enjoy their diving toys. Hotel is not is about a 15-20min walk from Itaewon (maybe my family is slow though!), so expect to take a cab or hotel shuttle for travel, which are easy options. Had a great view on the Han River side of the hotel. The room was a little smaller then expected for a reservation of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The pullout bed/linen was not ready when we got into the room, had to call the front and ask and it took about 45mins for delivery, which was a little disappointing after a long day. We tried to use the early check-in but no rooms were available, didn't get back to the hotel until around 10pm to get into the room.

Stella Kim is kind and so much supportive for taking pictures and taking plates from the table.

Great location, wonderful atmosphere, comfortable room, and exceptionally clean throughout. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The hotel restaurant is outstanding, and the beautiful garden provides a relaxing setting. Overall, an excellent place to stay.

Amazing location right in the center of Ite-won. Fantastic service and food. Staff are so friendly and the rooms were so specious and had amazing views!

We went to the buffet yesterday morning the staff and food were excellent.

From the very moment we arrived at the Grand Hyatt Seoul, we were blown away by the incredible hospitality. The front desk team gave us a surprisingly warm and wholehearted welcome that instantly made us feel at home after our travels.

I want to express my deepest gratitude especially to Ms. Stacy. Her unparalleled service, attentiveness, and genuine kindness stood out completely. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay started perfectly, and her professionalism is a true credit to the hotel. It is rare to encounter someone so dedicated to excellence. Thank you, Stacy, and thank you to the entire front desk team for making our visit so memorable. We cannot wait to return!

This was a nice hotel with comfortable beds, I traveled with my family including my kids. I am a globalist, and they gave me connecting rooms on a high floor.

My complaints: they don’t allow kids in the grand club after 6pm. They only provide kids meals - you’re supposed to leave your kids alone in the room to eat while you eat in the lounge. If they have a problem with kids they should create a designated kids seating area.

The pool/sauna area- this was nice but so packed. And the sauna/hot tub locker areawas packed full of naked people, no bathing suits or towels in sight. I guess it’s a cultural thing, but it was too much for me.

Overall, a very nice hotel with excellent service. I’d stay here again as a globalist.
