Grand Hyatt Seoul will no longer provide disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, and shaving foam free of charge. These items will be available for purchase as a set for 1,000 won.
The sauna will be closed every 1st week on Monday. If Monday is a holiday, it will be closed the following week’s Monday.
Please note that Renovation work will be carried out from January 12, 2026 to April 30, 2026 (excluding weekends and public holidays), The Terrace Buffet, located on the Lobby Level, will be closed for renovation. Guests may experience occasional construction activity and noise during this period.

The shuttle buses to metro stations
No bide in the room of a 5 star hotel where even public toilets have it in Korea.
The elevators are so crowded and you have to wait for it for some time

The staff is great!
Be aware! I booked room for 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children) but when I got in the room was only bed for 3 persons!!!!! So I went to complain and they said they don’t allowed more then 3 in a room and had to pay for another room!!! Unbelievable!!! They said that the problem is frim Booking.com!!!
Be aware!!!! Take care, this is not fair, but they do it.

I am staying several nights at the Grand Hyatt Seoul and overall I am very happy with my stay.
At check-in, I was initially given a room with a nice view. However, the bathroom felt a bit outdated and only had a shower over the bathtub, which did not fully meet my expectations. After a quick and polite request at the front desk, I was offered a different room without any issues.
The new room was on a slightly higher floor, had the same great view, and featured a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. This was a much better fit for me and made the stay significantly more comfortable. I especially appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff handled the situation.
All staff members I interacted with throughout my stay were very kind and attentive.
The gym is well equipped for a hotel gym, and I also appreciated the hotel shuttle service, which made getting around much easier. The hotel is not within walking distance of shops or restaurants, so a taxi or the shuttle is usually needed for most trips outside.
Breakfast offered a good variety of options, although I personally missed having à la carte choices. As this is a large hotel, breakfast can get busy during peak times, so arriving a bit earlier or later than the main rush is a good idea. The pool area is well maintained and relaxing, and there is also a whirlpool, which was a nice addition.
Rooms located close to the elevators can be a bit noisy at night, and the rooms are slightly soundproofed, so light noise can carry. For a quieter stay, I would recommend requesting a room away from the elevators.
Overall, I had a great experience and truly enjoyed my stay. It would be helpful if guests could make reservations for breakfast.
I have stayed at the grand Hyatt Seoul several times and it never disappoints. Great hotel! Rooms are clean and comfortable and staff very helpful.
