I had the most pleasant stay during my solo trip to Seoul for my birthday! The staff at the Hyatt were super attentive and supportive. The food was excellent. The spa superb. The hotel is beautifully situated on a hill and the shuttle service provided to other popular locations made the distance from those areas and public transit a non issue! I can’t wait to visit again!
Sana from the spa was amazing! She was so friendly and thoughtful. I was able to thoroughly enjoy the massage. All the other staff members were also very friendly and helpful. The tomato salad was so beautifully presented and absolutely delicious!
Very calm and peaceful place
I really liked massage
Hotel is located near 2 bus stops. Subway station is about 15-20min walk. Hiking distance to N. Seoul Tower, it took us about 45mins going up and about 35 mins going down.
I had the hydro facial at the spa and it was amazing! Itzel did my facial and it was truly such a relaxing experience. My skin feels so hydrated.
Got a muscle release one, Jasmine is the best!
Amazing experience! If you traveled to Korea with a long flight, this is the place where you should go!! Lia and Sana was our masseuses and they did the work on spot!
I almost had a complete experience at Grand Hyatt Seoul during my recent trip. I was really looking forward to relaxing here with my family after my first visit more than a year ago. Most things were perfect, except that they closed almost all outdoor areas even though the weather had become much warmer. The outdoor spaces with panoramic views of Seoul and the gardens of Grand Hyatt were one of the main reasons I used to love this place.
Another factor that ruined my entire experience was the female receptionist who checked me in. I checked in at 12:30 PM, on April 8th, room 1451, and I was utterly confused by her attitude. She seemed upset about something, behaving curtly and rudely, making me feel like I was checking in at a train station rather than a top 5-star hotel in Seoul. After finishing the check-in, she didn’t even offer to help with my luggage (a very basic service at a 5-star hotel), even though she knew I was traveling with my wife and 1-year-old daughter, with bulky luggage like a stroller and large suitcases. A little later, a Korean male receptionist nearby noticed and helped me carry the luggage to my room, while she just stood there pretending to be busy, without a single word of welcome, thanks, or wishing me a pleasant stay. Absolutely terrible!
I truly appreciate all the other staff here. The overall experience wasn’t too bad, breakfast wasn’t really outstanding, but the location was excellent and the scenery beautiful. With all of that, I would have returned on my next business trip, but because of the awful check-in experience, I will never come back and will not recommend this place to anyone
Excellent location, view, service, and overall experience. Highly recommend. Try it, you’ll enjoy the hotel and beautiful surroundings.
The fact there's no sitting or lounge area in the lobby. All seating area requires you to pay for food or drinks. The only area where you can sit is a bench where you can sit to wait for a seat in the dining area. Every amenity is optimized for revenue generation. There's not an even an area where one can sit to wait for friends or to recharge one's phone.
Morning buffet: chef’s kiss. Perfect suites: amazing views plus modern amenities. Lobby staff 100% helpful!
It’s very lively and staff is very attentive and friendly

The breakfast experience at Grand Hyatt Seoul is truly outstanding and easily one of the highlights of the stay. The location alone sets the tone — perched on the hillside with sweeping views over Seoul and the Han River, it’s a calm and beautiful way to start the day, whether you’re seated indoors or near the windows taking in the scenery.
The food selection is exceptional. There’s a wide variety of high-quality options ranging from fresh fruit and pastries to Korean specialties and made-to-order dishes. Everything is fresh, well-presented, and consistently delicious. Whether you’re in the mood for a light, healthy breakfast or something more indulgent, the spread caters to all tastes.
What really elevates the experience, though, is the service. The staff are attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. Special thanks to Helia, Catherine, Joseph, Bo-young, and Stella, who all contributed to making the mornings feel effortless and enjoyable. Their professionalism and friendliness didn’t go unnoticed and added a personal touch that makes a real difference.
Overall, breakfast at Grand Hyatt Seoul is a top-tier experience — beautiful setting, excellent food, and service that goes above and beyond. Highly recommended.
