The restaurant has a very dated gloomy tent like fabric ceiling. Ordered lamb shoulder but was served lamb leg. The lamb leg had the bones, which confirmed it. Complained to the waiter who insisted it was lamb shoulder. When I challenged him to show me the shoulder bone he went to the kitchen and came back with a clean shoulder bone on a plate. That bone was clearly a shoulder bone, but it did not belong to the lamb leg in my plate. I told him that, and he did not utter a word.

I recently stayed at Hyatt Regency Casablanca and, unfortunately, my experience did not meet the standards I would expect from such a well-known international brand.
My first disappointment was upon arrival. There was no concierge or staff member outside the hotel to assist with luggage. We had several heavy bags and had to carry them ourselves into the hotel in very hot weather. Even after entering the lobby, there was nobody available to welcome or assist us immediately. Eventually, a staff member approached us, but the first impression had already been disappointing.
At check-in, the receptionist greeted us primarily in French. We responded in Arabic, making it clear that we were local guests, but she continued speaking mostly in French. I then explained that I do not speak French and preferred English, yet communication remained difficult. In hospitality, staff should adapt to the guest's preferred language whenever possible. This created an uncomfortable experience and did not feel welcoming.
When we arrived in our room, we discovered that the air-conditioning unit was damaged and partially detached from the ceiling. More concerning was the fact that part of the air-conditioning cover had already fallen down. This presented a potential safety hazard, as it could easily have fallen on a guest and caused an injury. We immediately contacted engineering to resolve the issue, but such a problem should have been identified and repaired before the room was assigned to guests.
Another frustrating experience occurred during our stay. There was a Moroccan football match taking place, and for more than an hour nobody answered our calls to Reception or Housekeeping when we requested bottled water. It felt as though the staff were more focused on the match than on assisting guests. Only after the match ended did we finally receive a response.
Later, during check-out, I requested water. The request was acknowledged, but after waiting approximately 35 to 40 minutes, nothing arrived. This level of delay for such a simple request is unacceptable in a hotel of this category.
Finally, during check-out, there was no effort to ask about our stay, no interest in guest feedback, and no warm farewell. The interaction felt rushed and impersonal, with little regard for the guest experience.
While the hotel's location is excellent and the property itself is well-known, the service quality was far below expectations. Hyatt Regency Casablanca has great potential, but significant improvements in guest service, responsiveness, maintenance standards, and staff training are needed. This was my first stay here, and unfortunately, it left a very disappointing impression.

We checked in at the Hyatt but our rooms were not ready which was ok. The room are a bit dated and the smell on the floors is overwhelming, almost as though they are trying to hide a smell. We wanted to give our kids a bath but the water pressure was insane, to a point where you cannot use it without getting the entire bathroom wet. Not too mention that our AC didn’t work and our TV kept turning off. We had purchased lounge access with our room but they surprised us saying we had to pay another 350 dhs which we argued was insane since it was included with our room purchase. After arguing, the manager agreed to give it to us but at that point we were so angry that we decided to not use the lounge at all wasting 10000 points. Overall, I would stay at the many other hotels that Casablanca offers, this one is passed its prime.
Honestly, I never rate hotels but had to for this one. As someone who has traveled all around the world, staying in numerous hotels and accommodations, the Hyatt Regency in Casablanca is a step above the rest. Every detail is accounted for to ensure that the guest experience is magical. The friendliness/attentiveness of the staff, the food (which was out of the world delicious), the cleanliness, the efficiency - everything! I do want to give a special shout out to Mounia who greeted me upon arrival and made sure that my needs were taken care of. I had had an exceptionally difficult travel day prior to arriving and I'm sure she could sense it. She put my nerves at ease, went above and beyond to make sure that I got a good room, made some wonderful suggestions (adding breakfast), and really exuded the type of interpersonal connection that we lack in this world. Thank you to her and every single staff member from the bottom of my heart.

J’ai particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel. Toute l’équipe est très bienveillante, attentive et toujours disponible pour répondre à la moindre demande.
La chambre était très confortable, avec un lit de grande qualité, et le ménage était effectué chaque jour avec soin. L’hôtel dispose également d’une piscine agréable et d’une ambiance calme, ce qui est très appréciable après une journée bien remplie. Le service au bord de la piscine est excellent, et l’équipe sur place est vraiment sympathique.
Autre point fort : la salle de fitness, qui est particulièrement bien équipée pour un hôtel.
J’ai passé un excellent séjour et je reviendrai avec plaisir. Le rapport qualité-prix est, selon moi, excellent.

Je souhaiterais également souligner un point qui pourrait être amélioré concernant l’organisation des événements au Living Room. L’emplacement qui m’a été proposé pour regarder le match du Maroc n’était pas idéal.
Il me semblerait pertinent de privilégier les clients séjournant à l’hôtel avant les visiteurs de passage, notamment lors des événements à forte affluence. Cela contribuerait à valoriser davantage l’expérience des résidents de l’établissement.
I would like to sincerely thank Ms. Wafaa at the Front Desk for her professionalism, kindness, and understanding. We had two separate reservations on consecutive days, which meant we would normally have to go through the check-out and check-in process again the following day. When we arrived in the evening and explained our situation, Wafaa listened carefully and understood our concern. She was very helpful and found a simple solution that allowed us to remain in the same room and continue our stay without the inconvenience of changing rooms. Her positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent customer service made our experience much more comfortable.
The only area that needs improvement was the response to phone calls during the Morocco match. I tried calling both the Front Desk and Housekeeping several times to request water, but unfortunately there was no answer, despite repeated attempts over an extended period. I hope the hotel can improve responsiveness during busy periods and major events.
Thank you again to Wafaa ( receptionist) and mohamed ( Room service) for outstanding service . They were definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

Le service global était impeccable et très agréable, aux petits soins. La chambre était excellente, avec une literie impeccable et une isolation sonore rare au Maroc. Le room service était excellent, avec un délai de livraison hyper rapide et une nourriture très bonne. Je recommande vivement toutes leurs pâtes, ils savent les faire. La salle de sport était équipée de matériel neuf et complet pour s’entraîner efficacement. Bref, j’y retournerais sans hésiter. 👍
Le principal problème concerne la propreté autour de la piscine. Il est impératif de mettre en place un système pour empêcher les oiseaux, extrêmement nombreux, de déféquer sur les matelas, serviettes et transats. J’ai moi-même failli être touché à deux reprises, et mes voisins de droite et de gauche ont été victimes de ces désagréments, à juste titre furieux. Il est donc essentiel de trouver une solution à ce problème. De plus, un nettoyage quotidien est indispensable, au minimum avec un coup de balai et un jet d’eau, car la propreté laisse actuellement à désirer. Enfin, les tables autour de la piscine sont hors d’usage et bancales, leur remplacement est urgent.
