Great location, but disappointing service and disorganized experience
Pros:

I travel quite a lot for work, so I tend to value efficiency and thoughtful service when choosing where to stay.

At Grand Hyatt Singapore, the location is definitely a strong point - very convenient, great access to food, and easy to walk around the city. If location is your main priority, it works well.

However, the overall hotel experience felt quite incoherent. The layout is not intuitive - the lobby is far from the elevators leading to the rooms, and you have to navigate through crowds to get there. What made it more frustrating was that the front desk staff didn’t guide me at all on where to go, so I ended up wandering around trying to figure it out myself. It felt unnecessarily time-consuming.

The room itself was decent, but overall the stay felt underwhelming for the price being charged.

What was most disappointing, though, was how my luggage situation was handled. Singapore Airlines had misplaced my luggage, and I specifically asked the front desk to notify me via WhatsApp once it arrived. No one did. I had to follow up two to three times. When they finally showed me proof of delivery, it turned out the luggage had been delivered to the wrong room - despite me clearly stating I hadn’t received anything. My belongings were essentially given to a completely random room, which was quite upsetting.

Overall, while the location is great, the lack of service, poor communication, and disorganized experience made the stay disappointing.

Luxurious and comfortable
Pros:

Modern, luxurious but green. Loved the pool area and pool restaurant bar. They are generous with space and the rooms are a good size. Materials are natural and this creates a very calming atmosphere.

Nice hotel in a happening location
Pros:

Location is excellent, in between corners of Scotts Rd and Orchard Road, plenty of shops and food options. Just 1 min walk to the MRT station so super conveniet for getting around Singapore. Staff are friendly and helpful, and check-in and out procedures were very efficient.

Cons:

We stayed on the Grand Wing which is a bit of a walk to the swimming pool, but it's okay. The room is a bit small, not able to fit in an extra bed.
