Dirty Shower and Rude Waitress!
Pros:

The only good thing about this stay was the fact that the arena was across the street

Cons:

Walked into dirty shower with hair and dirt on the floor of the shower, dirty bed sheets. Went down to front desk and got a free breakfast coupon (didn't use). Waitress at the restaurant was extremely rude when asking a question about where to sit. Just all around a terrible stay, while not being booking this hotel again.

The location.

Cons:

We had to pay for parking. There was no mini refrigerator or microwave in the room. No blow dryer. I was traveling with my sister and they provide you with two towels total.

Pros:

Property seen beat and ruined. The hotel seemed OK. Not for the price I paid.

Cons:

I absolutely adored the staff. I didn’t feel well when I got there and they got me a hotel room as quick as possible. My heart goes out to them thank you so much front desk staff.

great overnight stop close to downtown for some exploring

NO SLEEPER SOFA

The only thing I liked was the location.

The listing stated a bed with a sleeper sofa. There was no sofa just a chair.

Overall, it was good, but updates to carpeting in hall and fitness center are certainly needed.
Pros:

Location is wonderful

Cons:

Bar needs to be open later (especially with tournament games not being over until after 10:30). Bar closed at 11 each night.

Staff was wonderful, but no one cleaned rooms.

I also think breakfast buffet needs to be included with the price of room. With the amount that is charged, breakfast should be free.

Disappointed
Pros:

Didn't eat breakfast.

Cons:

Room can only be on heat or cool. It was on heat and despite thermostat set to 65...room temp was a balmy 79 degrees!. I was compted free parking. There was a long blond hair on a towel on the sink. Wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Overall I would stay there again if going to the coliseum again, but I'd take my own heater.
Pros:

The location was perfect. Close to Charleston Coliseum, around the corner walk. Restaurants a block or two away.

Cons:

One room wasn't a king bed. Had to go back to lobby to request new room as the phone in the room didn't work. I turned the heat up before going out to come back to same cold room. Again, had to go back to lobby to be told " the thermostat doesn't really work. This is an old hotel so it's either heat or air". Maintenance brought a tiny plug-in space heater to our room.
