Luxury with a prime location
Pros:

Very nice and the location was unbeatable for an early morning flight. The bathrooms were incredible! Loved the walk-in shower.

Cons:

The price was a little high for a Tuesday night.

Very nice stay, albeit expensive for what you get.
Pros:

The shower was hot, even after all four of us used it. Every staff member we came in contact with were friendly and warm. The room was very clean and you couldn't hardly tell the proximity to the airport. Breakfast staff were wonderful and the food was pretty good, although we felt it was overpriced.

Cons:

The A/C ambient noise probably helped not being able to hear traffic, airport, hotel noise, etc. The bed we had was probably close to needing replaced, as there was a clear human shaped hole on one side of the mattress that caused the lighter person in the bed to roll down into the heavier all night. While I recognize supply/demand and time of year, the parking cost (54 a day after tax) on top of the already expensive 2 night stay, I feel like a discount from the posted daily rate when staying at the hotel would be an incentive.

I never stayed. I didn't utilize the property and management has yet to call me back about my refund that should've been sent to Booking.com and canceled properly.

Cons:

What I don't like about the property is how difficult it is to contact management and speak to a manager at the front desk and reservations. Housing made service. You can't reach a manager anywhere and if I can't reach a manager, I'll never need to stay at property where you can't reach a manager this is sad and unprofessional. I've been trying to reach Mr. Seymour for days. He never calls me back.

lovely hotel experience
Pros:

Aster was a wonderful server in the downstairs restaurant. I think we must have visited three or four times. The braised ribs are amazing! My husband also loved the seafood stew. I also had a nice Mediterranean appetizer. Thank you to Christabel Green, the Food and Beverage Manager, for also being so kind. Sabrina were also very kind and hats off to Ziyad, one of the most absolute sweetest front desk agent I have ever met. Juana was a great housekeeper, too.

Nice, but not right for us for this trip.
Pros:

Location close to the metro so made traveling for the one day we were there easy. The hotel was nice and as expected for a full Marriott location.

Cons:

Not ideal for families, even when paying for included breakfast, just probably too formal for us on our vacay mode for this trip.

It was satisfactory except for the wi-fi extra charge. I won't book again if there is an extra fee
Cons:

The web site indicated that wi-fi is included in the basic hotel rate. IN fact the hotel wants $12.95 per day for wi fi. That's not acceptable. I expect a high end hotel to include internet in the room. I will not book a hotel that charges extra for wi-fi. Come on it's 2026! Wi fi should be standard just like a tv

Nice hotel
Pros:

Great location. The room was very nice updated and clean. The parking garage I had to let some air out of the tires of my 2004 Ford F250 unless the roof lights hit. Lots to eat within a short drive or walk.

Great Weekend Trip
Pros:

Had a really amazing long weekend at the Marriott Crystal City. We are from Richmond and drove up for a long weekend stay during Super Bowl Weekend as we had plans to go to Wizards game. Being that there is a walkway to the metro, it made it super convenient for us to get to DC. We stayed in a king bedroom with M Lounge access. The lounge was super convenient when needed to grab a beverage and a snack. It also comes with the breakfast Buffet. It seems like they cater to doing more things during the week (assuming that’s for all the business travelers) as on Monday - they had someone in the breakfast area making omelets. Wish they had it during the weekend because that fresh omelet was much better than the scrambled eggs 😆
The first night we arrived, we grabbed some dinner To go from the downstairs restaurant. Food was fine, nothing amazing.
Room was spacious and clean. No complaints.

Overall, would definitely stay here again. Parking is pricing but it’s NOVA so it’s to be expected.
