The room was nice but it was dusty and the shower was leaking all over the floor.
Both pool restrooms were nasty. The toilets were clogged. The pool was cold and there were no towels. This hotel was not worth the price point. The only thing good about the hotel is the location.
The proximity to the campus and the local businesses
Parking issues weren’t the greatest but worked out
The hotel was very nice.
The pool and jacuzzi was not operating.
Nothing. It was horrible.
It was not clean. If we use the shower it the water leak in all the bathroom floor.
The beds were nice staff were great
The front and back door were broken and I had to walk completely around the building with all my luggage! Also the reason I booked was because of the hot tub (injured back) but everything was closed!
The staff was very good...! Easy check in and out... room was very clean....had an issue with the toilet and it was fixed immediately..!!
The public areas could be addressed... not as clean and new as the rooms...
The view and the glass style building
The pool was broke /cold. The whole reason we booked it 😒
location
staff locked us out of our rooms. they said our cards were declined. we paid through Affrim. family and friends was worried we would have to find another place to stay in the middle of the night after returning to our unpacked locked rooms after 12am.
Location and view
The room was spacious.
The bed sheets were stained on one of the double beds very noticeably. Not impressed. How a cleaner did not notice this is beyond me!
The shower doors kept sliding open leaving the floor soaked when showering.
The towels were not plentiful
The shampoo and shower gel dispensers were empty.
Convenience
Broken elevator, no working restroom accessible, not ADA compliant causing great hardship for our party. Under construction, light fell from atrium ceiling into the pool while people in pool, so pool closed. Cost unacceptable for at 400.00 per night. We will not be using Hilton again. Son at other Hilton in town had no water. Very disappointing.
We stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton from 4/24–4/26 and unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.
Check-in started off badly when we were given the wrong room. After waiting 20 minutes for the elevator (with only one working), we got to the room. We had to pack everything back up, wait around while they figured it out because they put us on the wrong room, and then wait another 15+ minutes for the elevator again.
It only got worse from there. A teammate found literal poop shoved inside their hair dryer. Multiple families on our team had to switch rooms due to broken air conditioning, leaking fridges, or fridges that didn’t work at all. Our bed sheets felt like they had sand in them.
Our team’s hockey door signs were stolen, and one teammate even got stuck in the only working elevator. With elevators constantly broken, families were forced to carry hockey bags, luggage, and kids up and down 6+ flights of stairs.
The hotel also advertised a hot tub, but it wasn’t working. The pool was ice cold, had no towels available, and then ended up being closed for emergency repairs.
To top it off, we called Friday night for an extra blanket and towels since they only provide two towels per room, and were still waiting.
For a hotel that should be prepared to host families and sports teams, this was beyond disappointing. Poor maintenance, cleanliness issues, broken amenities, and terrible service made this a miserable stay.
Filthy. Especially the common areas. Food stuck to carpets, stained furniture, dirty bathrooms, layers of dust. Gross.
