Just another trip!!!!
Pros:

I like how close it was to where I had to go.

Cons:

I've stayed there many times before and the new staff that's there now is not as friendly as the staff which was a husband and wife and they were so friendly and made you feel like you were home, now it felt like a business trip or something, I really miss the old staff

Motel done right!
Pros:

Motel done right! Friendly and easy checkin. Clean, recently decorated room. Working aircon. Good breakfast. Good price. It shouldn't be hard to provide a good motel service and a good price. But these guys nailed it. Thanks.

Comfort, Cleanliness, & Proximity
Pros:

This was the closest hotel to the Grayson Highlands. It was recently remodeled. Now this is not a luxury hotel. But it checks all of the right boxes for my kind of travel.

Bathroom was clean
Beds were comfortable and clean
They had a great continental breakfast
All of this for $106 including taxes. You can’t beat this. The staff was so welcoming.
This hotel is only 30 minutes away from Grayson Highlands State Park in VA. You will be limited on restaurants as there are only a couple. The Italian restaurant Ciro was delicious. They do have a Food City and we were able to purchase items for the race that I was running. Definitely a place for people who want comfort and cleanliness.

Cons:

I suspect they gave me a pet room. My allergies were on fire.

Stayed just one night, but it was a 10/10 experience—peaceful, comfortable, and everything I needed.

Comfortable Beds and Clean Room
Pros:

Comfortable beds. Good location for visiting relatives nearby. Good coffee.

Cons:

Thin walls and could hear coughing from the next door room. Refrigerator noise. Would have liked an extra lock on inside of the door since we were 2 women traveling alone.
