Booking site said free breakfast with room rate, but actually cost $14 each.

Awful
Pros:

Curtis REFUSED to look up my confirmation number. Finally after arguing he listened. Said “oh yes I guess it is here”. Proceeded to tell me it’s not available and then refused to give me a refund and said there was not one single other room available. He switched my booking right there without asking and said come back the following day at 3pm to pay for the following night. I told him no I need a room for tonight. He laughed at me and said well I thought that was helping you. He then goes CLAIMING the only allowed check in time was at 3pm. Needless to say, he sucks. My refund was denied so now I have to jump through more hoops for a place I got turned away from but still paid for thanks.

Cons:

Had to wait on our room. Staff quit during our stay and no one was running the hotel. No towels. No one to stop people from keeping the noise down and people were outside playing music past 1 am on Sat. Kids answering the phone. Police had to ne called to get someone in there to control the place. I have never had a more horrible experience EVER!

Staff needs to be more friendly. Person at counter during check in needs to open his mouth when he speaks. I could barely understand him. Another employee in the morning was frustrated because we got in the elevator with him. Seemed he was in a hurry but kept getting frustrated as the elevator stopped at each floor for additional people. Kept mumbling under his breath to hurry up. Made us uncomfortable.

Nice but ridiculous to charge for parking.

Pay for parking which is ridiculous. Luggage carts were not available and they put us in room that was as far away from elevator as possible.

Not bad
Pros:

Room was comfortable and clean but pool area was very low on towels and while the area around the pool looked clean it looked like the tiles along the edges of the pool could use a good scrubbing.

Overall our stay was good and Macy at the bar was super friendly and helpful with where to find good food in the area.

Shout out to Curtis
Pros:

I gave this hotel one star overall, but I would give five stars to Curtis for his help. Holiday Inn express across the street failed to hold our reservation, Curtis came through for us. It was extremely compassionate and resourceful. We thank him for his help. However, the hotel failed miserably in other areas. Blood on the pillowcase was also blood on the pillow, meaning the case was never cleaned, they lined up exactly. No other pillows available. House cleaning never showed up during our stay. They offered us some IGH points, but it was not enough to make us return.

Exceptional Hospitality Thanks to Noula
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the very beginning, Noula, the manager, went above and beyond to help us with our booking and continued to support us throughout our stay. She was excellent in every way, kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly.

Any questions or needs we had were handled quickly and thoughtfully, and her professionalism combined with her warmth truly made a difference. It’s rare to encounter someone who makes you feel so welcome and cared for, and Novla absolutely did that for us.

Because of her help and the overall quality of our stay, this hotel will definitely be our first choice when we return. Highly recommend.
