Yummy food and friendly service!
The location was great. The staff was helpful, especially Angel the bartender. The hotel was clean and spacious.
I booked a 5 night award stay at this property at the end of February 2026. The stay was for three adults and one teenager. I chose this hotel for its location, number of beds per room and free breakfast. Amazing location for work or tourism. Walkable to many sites.
Positives:
-Ability to book a 2 -queen plus sofa bed for four persons. This allowed a more comfortable experience travelling with older/adult children without requiring an extra room. I was able to choose a higher floor room checking in online. I recommend a higher floor to minimize lobby noise disruption.
-Daily breakfast for all. Included breakfast is one of the reasons we booked here - it served as one of our main meals for the day. My husband and kids are definitely "breakfast people", so it was nice to have a solid meal before heading out. The hotel seems to have taken recent feedback regarding breakfast lines and quantity limitations to heart. During our stay the breakfast stations were fully staffed and we were asked how much of each item we wanted and reminded we could have as much as we liked. Breakfast staff were very friendly. We definitely noticed more traffic on the weekend but staffing was appropriate.
-Water bottles given at check in without being asked (HHonors benefit). Tip: save bottles and refill at stations available throughout the hotel. My favorite "water cooler" was just off the elevator on the mezzanine level. There is at least one more located by the meeting rooms (MZ level) and in the breakfast/reception area (on the right side, upper level).
Neutral:
-Breakfast was reasonable and staff pleasant. A few "grab and go" options (packaged muffins, granola bars, whole fruit, fruit cups or hard boiled eggs) would have been nice.
-Free "happy hour" offerings were thinly veiled opportunity for Hilton timeshare reps to connect with members. Appreciate the 250 points to say hello but wine choices were awful (even for "free") and snacks were sparse rotation. One night was chips and salsa and ritz crackers and cubed cheddar. The next night was veggies, ranch dip and crackers, the next there was only veggies and ranch and hummus; the next was chips and the rotation so on.
-In-room safe was non-functional. Notified the front desk on our first day but told in order to have it replaced or fixed required engineering coming when someone was in the room. We were not in the room much during the day so we never did get it fixed and just did without.
-Room was clean, reasonably up to date and higher floor made it quieter. The carpet either needed a good vacuum or just needs cleaning/refurbishing.
Negative:
-Hotel restaurant took itself way too seriously with way too small a menu. Cheeseburger required a $6 upcharge to add a small side of shoestring fries; $25-$28 for a small pizza; no side salad for purchase - had to split a full dinner Cesar salad. Restaurant was relatively dead yet staff had rushing energy like they had full tables. Not relaxing. Would have been better served to offer more drinks, or dessert. For a similar price point we got a ridiculous amount of food plus dessert to take home from the Cheesecake Factory nearby.
-We purposely did not bring a car due to parking fees and valet-only parking. It was much quicker and more cost effective to use Uber/Lyft (I did the math).
-Hotel supposedly charges a $25/day "destination fee" usable at the hotel restaurant. When we checked in, nothing was shared about this fee. Because we were on a reward stay we did not pay this fee out of pocket. On the last night we ate at the hotel restaurant and no credit was applied. I mention it because if others ARE being charged this fee, the hotel should notify guests how to use it.
-Hotel advertises self-serv laundry, but machines are coin-op with no change machine or tap-to-pay capability.
Overall - I love this location. I like a lot about this hotel. I think overall the room rates are justified, I just hate junk fees ($25) that are not fully disclosed or explained.
Khajuan stood out as he greeted us every morning with a sincere greeting and smile. He went out of his way to make sure our breakfast was outstanding and we were happy.
Our entire experience at the hotel was exceptional and we will absolutely visit this location again.
Our server Jenisha was very attentive and sweet. We had a very minor issue with the food but she made it more than right with out us even asking. Excellent customer service! She deserves a raise!
Love embassy suites. Good breakfast, kind service. Angelia and Ursula were helpful, kind, and courteous.
Breakfast was ok. View is very nice if you pay top dollar. Elevators are fast.
Valet is very cumbersome and expensive with poor customer service. Staff throughout hotel is run down and unhappy, and it shows in their poor hospitality and accommodation. Beds were uncomfortable. Pillows lumpy. Cannot turn on shower without getting in and getting all wet. The place is very overpriced and in addition, they force you to pay $25/day for unknown on top of fees and taxes and other nonsense. Located close to seaport village but certainly not as depicted in photos.
Location was excellent. Staff gave a great service and were very nice to us.
Breakfast should have more options. It was OK, but it was lacking in variety (in our case, who stayed 7 nights, it became monotonous).
Wonderful experience!! Donna in the dining room and the bartender Estefan made my mother daughter trip extra special with their hospitality!!
Nice atmosphere. People is nice and work happily. The rooms are comfortable and everything you need, workers are more than happy to help.
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
Our experience was highly incredible and that was all due to Jenisha and Fabian. They truly made our Family party of nine feel like family. They unknowingly know it was ny nieces birthday nor that we were treated unfairly at the Cheesecake Factory with reservations. The service they provided for us made us forget of the night that went upside down. They had fast service and the food was incredibly authentic with the local Italian pasta. The pizza was no ordinary pizza it was so delicious from the bread to the different flavors of the pesto and tomato pizza that Jenisha recommended. Our waitress was incredibly nice and patient with my family especially the kids. My family had different options from the menu, the ravioli, pizza, shrimp/chicken linguine and the cubano sandwich. Fabian, was attentive with my dad who is in a wheelchair and made sure he was warm by rolling the heat lamps and setting them for my dad. The customer service was impeccable a 10 out of 10, because they were bringing out the food at a fast pace and brought us any condiments we needed and were just attentive if needed anything else. My family is picky with places to eat and everyone enjoyed everything about it. Jenisha made my neice 15th birthday dinner feel so incredibly special. Thank you so much!! Unforgettable experience!
The entire staff was wonderful. From the valets, front desk to the team who helped set up our group rate- I can’t say enough good about them. In particular, Sabrina from Hilton Grand Vacations ensures that our entire guest party was paid special attention and provided everything the needed to have a lovely time. Also was Donna who helped us with our breakfast each day. Everyone was lovely!
Room was very clean, Accommodations were good. We enjoyed the breakfast provided.
We did not like that there were no other means for parking our car other than paying for valet parking. Too expensive and the hotel should advise of this before booking.
