I had a great experience staying here. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and offered a good variety of options. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.
Iniego was excellent. Friendly, attentive and efficient. 5 stars.
My wife and I had a great stay while I was attending a conference for the week. The hotel has an amazing breakfast bar full of healthy options - easily its best feature. It has fresh watermelon and pineapple, potatoes, bacon, pancakes, and chefs making custom order omlettes. Chef Khajuan radiated friendliness each morning; chefs Felipe, Mano, and William all provided excellent service as well. The rest of the staff also did a great job keeping the area clean.
The hotel also has a great location directly next to the Seaport Village with access to the waterfront. It's an easy 10-15 minute walk to the convention center and Gaslamp Quarter, and there's a trolley stop nearby.
We'd absolutely return here for future visits to San Diego.
Cody at the bar was excellent!!!!
Excellent in all levels:
- the ability to change our room after one was assigned to us via the Hilton app, including the ease of selecting a room directly from the hotel map provided
- an impeccably clean and spacious two-room suite, with very comfortable pillows and beds
- friendly staff (our room being ready more than 2 hours before check-in time was a big plus)
- one of the best complimentary hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had, which includes a hot buffet and made-to-order omelette station
- the ideal location of being a 10 min walk from the Amtrak station and a 5 min walk from Seaport Village
The omelet chefs were awesome and my breakfast was perfect.
The location is great, walking distance from the museums, shopping, and plenty more.
Breakfast was great. Great selection

This is our”go to” in San Diego due to its proximity to Seaport Village and the Seaport Village Trolley Station. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
We typically take the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner down to the Santa Fe Station and transfer to the Green Line which drops you off just 0.2 miles from the hotel. Then we walk the short distance and it saves us the $70/day valet charge. You really don’t need a car with the trolley system they have.
Check in was a breeze, we received our room keys, dropped off our luggage and walked another 0.2 miles to Seaport Village. The hotel offers a delicious free buffet breakfast with cook to order omelettes from 7-10 am and an evening reception with snacks and 2 free cocktails from 5:30-7:00 pm. The rooms are all suites and some have a beautiful view of the bay. The rooms are clean, well decorated, and very comfortable. The pillows are perfect!
This most recent stay, we went for the Big Bay Boom 4th of July fireworks show and booked a Premium Bayview Suite, room 703. We had a wonderful view of the Coronado Bridge and could see the fireworks in that area perfectly. It was nice to crack the window open, listen to the fireworks and watch them from our room instead of dealing with the massive crowds below.
Unfortunately when we got home we realized our son had left his sunglasses in the room. A quick call to the front desk and we received a link to report the missing item. Within a couple of hours we were notified they had located the glasses and we arranged to have them shipped to us since we live several hours away. Now that’s A+ customer service!
This will continue to be our hotel choice when we are in the area.. thank you to all the staff and especially the front desk employees who were AMAZING!
the breakfast was good.
all the rooms are by the elevators and it's hard to get a good night sleep. No water in the rooms. No charging for EV cars and it costs 75 to park your car where one minute away there is 30$ parking and the Hotel does not tell the costomers about it.
We booked a family room. There were 4 pillows on the made-up bed and 1 in the closet. The main bedroom was nicely made up, but the duvet on the sofa bed had no cover on it. We called the front desk and someone came up to look into the matter, but he just brought a duvet cover without doing anything with it. This is very disappointing since we paid a lot for the family room and we expected all 4 duvets to be made up and that there would be pillows for everyone. This is basic expectations that are not met and that’s very disappointing.
Nice room with a family. Very clean facilities. Would have preferred a hotel that had better outdoor space in Southern California. Breakfast was just okay. The valet parking (only parking available through the hotel) is totally overpriced. Use spot hero and self-park a few minutes away for a third of the price.
Breakfast was fantastic. Room was spacious and the location was perfect for the areas we were planning to visit. Would definitely come back to this hotel
Valet only for parking was quite expensive
The restaurant on site had good variety menu and tasty options
The breakfast buffet was mediocre. The indoor pool wasn’t very big and there was no jacuzzi.
Cody was great. Nice guy, great service
Amazing experience! Very clean and well put together!
We arrived at the end of the night to the New York Pizza restaurant here. There were only 2 staff working and it seems that multiple people showed up at the end of the night. You really wouldn’t have guessed it though. After only a brief wait to be sat, Jenisha came over and took care of us. Her and the gentleman working were super friendly and the quality of service never dwindled even though they were busy. If the quality of these individuals reflects the hotel, I want to stay here next time I visit San Diego!
Very nice location in San Diego. Great view of the water. The luxury suites are the largest rooms and are located on floors 11 and 12. The breakfast buffet is both hot and cold with a lot of options. Iniego was a great help! Thank you!
