They staff was very welcoming from the time we walked in ! They were very helpful throughout my Whole trip. It was my fiancé birthday & they sent him gifts to the room. Everything was perfect and wonderful. I will definitely be booking again!

Would absolutely return the next time I’m back in NOLA.

The room was perfectly clean and comfortable.

Forced to tip for a buffet breakfast and made to feel stupid
Pros:

The rooms are a bit dated. Reception staff rude. Our rate booked included a buffet breakfast which we got ourselves - they automatically charged 20% to the breakfast bill and when I said can you take it off I was told that it’s automatically added and they could not remove it. I would like to tip whom I want and not be forced into it through the establishment. Reception then went on to say had I booked direct this would have been explained at time of booking but because I booked through a third party I was given a sub standard room and did not understand how things worked.
I asked for a print out of my invoice and was told her printer didn’t work and then witnessed someone next to me getting his invoice printed out.
The check out process was absolutely awful and the 3 receptions should not be front of house - talking a giggling about a client.
We are on a 60 day road trip through USA and I will be changing all reservations I have with IHG hotels. Most unsatisfactory!

Location is great. Good breakfast. Love the balcony.

Cons:

I didn’t like staff coming into the room early mornings just to check the snack bar and incorrectly charge for things that were never in the room. That felt rude.
Lobby furniture is old and dirty. Toilet never stopped running which was annoying.

Very nice, short stay right next to the French Quarter.
Pros:

We stayed one day extra in New Orleans after a conference at a different hotel, so this was a nice although brief stay. Everything was very pleasant. The two free drink vouchers at Pete’s were a nice surprise. Breakfast was good, though the music in the room was a little loud, especially first thing in the morning. Our room was comfortable, and the balcony was another nice surprise.

NOLA Intercontinental Hotel Stay
Pros:

The Hotel is on St Charles Street, the Mardi Gras Parade Route.
The staff was accommodating and the rooms wonderfully appointed and very comfortable.
The food at both restaurants was exceptional. The service in the fine dining room was a little off.
I would highly recommend a stay here.
