hotel is great, staff was rude and harassing
Pros:

We love the location (need a car). We loved the room; the size and comfort was great with a great view. Nice patio outside to have a drink and a meal. Overall, a good find

Cons:

We ordered dinner in the hotel restaurant and there was no one available to pay for it. We had a 7am departure time for a tour in Berchtesgaden for the day. Our booking included breakfast, in the morning, they told us no we could not get breakfast, it was not authorized. We had to check out, and the server kept saying he would be down to settle the bill, he never came and we had to leave. We told the server we would settle the bill later; they called us soon after and we told them we would be back to settle the bill after our tour; they continued to harass us all day by phone. They sent a message through booking that they would be contacting the police, and we would not be able to leave the country if we didn't get in touch and pay our bill. They over charged us by 200 euro; we finally got the bill correct and paid via cc over the phone. This place needs to come up with a better way to accommodate travelers. If they don't have the staff to be available upon check out, then they need to have staff available to pay upon ordering meals and drinks. Not impressed with that part at all.

War ein schöner Urlaub
Pros:

War ein schönes Hotel. Bushaltestelle gleich vor Ort. Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und lecker

Cons:

Gaststätte neben an war dauerhaft geschlossen. Der Ausblick von unserem Apartment war nicht so toll. Sicht auf ein Berghang.

Pros:

breakfast choices quite impressive. Beyond my expection. The location of the hotel is close to the bus station to the Eagle Nest.

Cons:

The hotel is more a "residence", rather than a proper hotel. Items provided in the bathroom is quite limited, almost none. We are given a room for disabled person. Large enough, but no curtain for shower, you have to be very careful not to spill the water everywhere. To reach the hotel, you have to drive up the mountain for 8 KM, quite narrow and steep, not a good choice if you need to go down to the town for dinner, or visit other tourist spots.
