I had the pleasure of staying in this fine establishment, our room was upgraded as our IHG membership status was acknowledged and appreciated, the ambience is opulent and extremely pleasant. Cozy lobby with a touch of elegance and the food in the restaurant was excellent but costly. Room service was amazing and super friendly. Hotel was quiet and relaxing, alongside the rooms being spotless and tidy and most importantly special thanks to the lovely staff members who looked after us amazingly well during our stay, special thanks to Sate and Michelle from the reception team, in addition to that Sarah from the Breakfast team was lovely and also did a great job with her team! All in all, a great couple of nights in Geneve in this fine establishment!
La vue sur la rade de Genève
Service, bagages pas descendus à temps, la salle d’eau trop petite et vieillotte.
The positive: the room was very nicely decorated. The bed very comfortable. There’s coffee, a kettle and water bottles in the room. Free wifi is available. There are 2 robes and slippers available in the room.
The negative:
The bathroom is super tiny. You don’t have any space for toiletries at all. The bathtub is old.
The spa is super small, sauna and hamman are tiny. The massages and treatments are badly organised, no availability for days, very little personnel available. Far from center and amenities, or restaurants.
Breakfast is super expensive, 50 CHF for a croissant and coffee. I don’t get it.
I would recommend staying in the Crown Plaza near the airport. Much nicer hotel and atmosphere, better service, prices and transportation options.
The Intercontinental Geneve is a fair distance from the lake, and when you drive up, you expect a standard business hotel. What a surprise when you walk through the door! This hotel blows apart your expectations. My friend in Geneva had told me about this place so I tried it. I had been to Geneva many times before and had stayed at many beautiful hotels. Geneva’s hotel standards are very high. But the Intercontinental Geneve goes to the top of my list. Check in was delightful. You are treated as a VIP. Smiles and a desire to please you. Every staff member you see in the public areas greets you with a warm smile. The entrance, lobby and restaurants are elegantly beautiful. My room was gorgeous with a beautiful view of the city. I felt like I was the first person to ever use it. Fresh linens and new curtains and carpeting. Spacious and comfortable beyond words. I didn’t want to leave. The breakfast area was elegant with a large variety of breakfast items. If you didn’t see everything you wanted you could order it. I found the selection more than sufficient, fresh and delicious. Checkout was quick and easy by a delightfully sweet woman. I was actually sad to leave. I am very picky when it comes to hotels. Most of them, even the good ones, go by a standard formula. Intercontinental Geneve was just a great place to call home for a few days. I can’t wait to go back. My highest rating.
Good A1 staff is good quality very good
Went to Geneva for five days to attend a medical conference and had a couple days to enjoy the city.. The Intercontinental is perfectly located. Very close to United nations and also the famous gigantic broken chair. The hotel is just a 10 minute taxi ride in to the city.
Hotel impecável e equipe educada e prestativa.
Somente localização é um pouco afastada da area turistica
Quartos e equipe muito bons!!
Customer service
Bathroom size, outrageous rate
وجود شطاف
غرف قديمة ومستهلكة ويحتاج للتجديد
There is nothing special to mention. It is a clean but overpriced hotel.
Way too expensive. Rooms and bathrooms are old. However clean.
