Sehr schönes Hotel mit einem Problem im Frühstücksbereich
Pros:

Es ist ein sehr schönes Hotel mit einer super Lage an der Alster. Da dort keine stark befahrene Straße das Hotel und die Alster trennt, ist die Lage sehr ruhig.

Cons:

Der Frühstücksbereich ist für unseren Geschmack eine krasse Fehlplanung: Der Abstand zwischen den Tischen für 2 Personen beträgt 10 cm und damit ist die Privatsphäre komplett dahin. Für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse passt das einfach nicht und sollte dringend geändert werden.

Pros:

Die Lage direkt an der Außenalster ist sehr schön. In Europa leider ungewöhnlich (in Japan und Südkorea dagegen Standard) und daher besonders zu loben ist das Vorhandensein von Toilettenduschen. Allein deswegen würde ich das Hotel sofort wieder buchen. Das Personal war sehr freundlicereit.

Die Lage und Zimmerausstattung prinzipiell, aber nicht im Behindertenzimmer

Cons:

Service freundlich aber inkompetent, wir bekamen ein Behindertenzimmer, das nicht bestellt wurde, das Frühstück unmöglich, ich hatte einen Arzttermin und musste gehen, da innerhalb von 15 min kein Tee auf den Tisch kam. Buffett lieblos, Preise völlig überzogen.
Mehr Schein als sein.
Eine vergessene Computermaus wurde nach etlichen Anrufen für € 16 nachgeschickt.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Unser erstes Mittagessen im Gartenrestaurant war fantastisch. Super nette Bedienungen und ganz hervorragende Küche. Ein Crêpes Suzette wie man es besser nicht zubereiten kann, - am Tisch flambiert !!! Die Zimmer sind fantastisch mit jeglicher Technik ausgestattet, besonders das Lichtkonzept ist sehr angenehm und durchdacht. Elektrische Gardinen hatten wir auch noch nicht sooft. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist wunderbar, der Blick auf die Aussenalster unbezahlbar, der gepflegte Park in der Morgensonne ein Träumchen.... und es ist alles frisch und sehr fein zubereitet. Eierspeisen und jegliche Säfte werden am Tisch serivert. Es hat uns super gefallen. Die Rezeption und der Conciere - Service lassen keine Wünsche offen. Super freundliche Mitarbeiter, es wird sich um einen gekümmert, von der ersten Minute, man wird hier als Gast geschätzt. Eine ausführliche Hausführung mit Erklärungen, bis hin zum ZImmer, wo dann auch das Gepäck schon hingebracht wurde hat uns wirklich beeindruckt.

Cons:

Dass man als Hausgast auf der Dachterrassen - BAR, anstehen und auf einen freien Platz warten muss. Es gibt viele Gäste von ausserhalb, nach dem Motto "sehen und gesehen werden", bei diesem unglaublichen Ausblick auch verständlich. Wir bekamen trotzdem nach ca. 10 Minuten Warten einen schönen Tisch zugewiesen und hatten einen schönen Abend, denn auch hier tolle Bewirtung mit sehr freundlichem Personal.

hotel has a number of bad rooms. bad views. SPA area is filled with lots of locals with day passes and loud kids and babies. get ready to wait 15-20 min for your coffee at breakfast. too expensive for the quality of the rooms and service.
