Room was unready despite it being 1:00 pm. Was then forced to sit in the lobby and wait for it even though it was booked days in advance. Honestly worst hotel experience I’ve had in a while and the front desk lady acts like she has other things to do.
Air conditioning in the lobby was not working so I felt very sorry for the staff.
room was ok
the breakfast was very poor. could be much better
room was appropriate size, bed as well.OIt was clean and well maintained
A night before our check in a person opened our door. He was given the key card to our room as if it was assumed that we already left. Next morning when we came back from gym our cards didn't work. Front desk official apologized and fixed the problem . New cards worked in the elevator but not on our room. Went back to front desk again and then it was fixed. Also, of 3 elevators only one is constantly working. Second one was on and off, and third one didn't work at all
Rates need to reflect services available. Reception, please acknowledge guests and don’t answer phones when checking someone in.
Pool closed during stay, which was the reason we booked this particular hotel prior to flying home.
Sports bar - hopefully gets refurbished, tired and worn. Food standard pretty poor for price and no draft beer available at all.
That said we had refurbed room which was good - bed good - bathroom refurb poor, room 612 - ask contractor to review bathroom works…..holes in tiles and generally unfinished.
If you are charging top dollar then include breakfast in room rate as without the facilities available breakfast included would be an appreciated gesture and inexpensive to provide given the issues during refurb.
Put yourself in guest shoes when considering pro active solutions.
There are far, far better airport hotels for way less - go visit schipol airport for great pre flight hotels such as Clarendon.
Staff was rude. Over priced for a glorified econolodge
Location
Outdated
Location. It was close to the airport and not too far from city center.
I have stayed to this hotel at least 3 or 4 times. Each time there was an issue with parking. The gate always has a problem. But this last visit probably will be my last stay. They placed a hold on my card days after I checked out and after a month the accounts department won't return a call. I sent an email to Customer Service, no answer. This hold has now been on my card for 1 month. My wife loves the Doubletree brand but this may be the last we ever stay to one because this is unacceptable.
Just want to give these guys a little love to help raise their average rating, which they rightly deserve.
Stayed for one night, just needed a place to get some sleep after a long flight.
The staff at the desk and in the restaurant were all terrific - joyful and helpful. The hotel is pretty far into its renovation and looking spiffy. Our room was new, clean, and had a great bed.
I’d happily stay again, and I’m really happy that Hilton is finally putting some money into their Doubletrees, which I’ve always had a soft spot for.
Nothing
Everything it was under construction and it was terrible.
lot of perks shut down because of remodel and front guy little Rude up front to people before us cause said he has not been able to eat yet lol
