Property is Dated. But that's not the Worse part.
Pros:

Location. It was close to the airport and not too far from city center.

Cons:

I have stayed to this hotel at least 3 or 4 times. Each time there was an issue with parking. The gate always has a problem. But this last visit probably will be my last stay. They placed a hold on my card days after I checked out and after a month the accounts department won't return a call. I sent an email to Customer Service, no answer. This hold has now been on my card for 1 month. My wife loves the Doubletree brand but this may be the last we ever stay to one because this is unacceptable.

Everything we needed
Pros:

Just want to give these guys a little love to help raise their average rating, which they rightly deserve.
Stayed for one night, just needed a place to get some sleep after a long flight.
The staff at the desk and in the restaurant were all terrific - joyful and helpful. The hotel is pretty far into its renovation and looking spiffy. Our room was new, clean, and had a great bed.
I’d happily stay again, and I’m really happy that Hilton is finally putting some money into their Doubletrees, which I’ve always had a soft spot for.

Nasty Spot
Pros:

Front desk was not friendly and gave me a room key that didn’t work first time. I woke up to loud construction right outside my door. Front desk said “thanks for telling me” and offered no solutions. I had to spend 45m with corporate and switch hotels. Nightmare. Don’t waste your time.

close to airport
Pros:

This doubletree is close to philadelphia airport and thats the best thing it has going for it. I always ask for a higher level floor so i can see the airport runways. the rooms are kind of small with a king size bed, but you can get two double beds. the elevators are kind of cramped, the hallways are actually darker than they should be. The restaurant is very overpriced and I never went in there. they have a pool that i never used. They kind of stick it to you by charging you $15.00 per night to park and the system is funky to enter and exit the lot. The lot needs improvement since I arrived during a rain shower and the parking area open to me had four inches of standing water in it during the rain and still had 3 inches standing the next morning to get back in my car! I couldnt even take my luggage out of my car to go into the hotel to sleep that night! The desk didnt care and I actually had a difficult time at check in for them to find my reservation even though i had checked in on the app. Not a great place to stay, but is close to airport.
