Very nice hotel to stay in Columbia, great restaurants near by and recommend, the Bourbon and Hendrix, delish! What made the experience even better at the Marriott was Christian at the front desk, what a delightful person. So glad he was working when we checked in, he suggested Hendrix as a recommendation, his personality is perfect for that position and would suggest he train everyone at Marriott worldwide. We felt like family coming to his home to stay, thank you Christian, hope to see you soon.

Great location a very friendly staff and got us a room early due to our early arrival. We were there for 3 nights and they never cleaned our, took out our trash or made our bed. We requested room service evsrdua and they never cleaned room. Or was disappointing!

This hotel is in downtown Columbia, attached to a large apartment complex for students at the University of South Carolina, the Hub. It has a restaurant, pool and conference/event rooms. It is also connected to large parking garage by a walkway on the mezzanine floor. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are well appointed, clean, with good toiletries in the bathroom and lots of towels. No safe in the rooms but they are available at the check-in desk if needed. There are options for in room food delivery. Breakfast is usually not included. I spent 2 nights there and of all the hotels in downtown Columbia this is the most efficient and resource-rich one. Will stay there again.

My recent stay at the Columbia Marriott in Columbia, South Carolina was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided a level of professionalism, courtesy, and attentiveness that truly set the tone for the entire visit.

What stood out most was the customer service. Every team member I encountered went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. Whether it was assistance at the front desk or general hospitality throughout the property, the staff consistently demonstrated a genuine commitment to excellence.

The amenities and overall atmosphere of the hotel created a perfect balance of comfort and convenience. It truly felt like a “home away from home,” and that level of care does not go unnoticed.

I highly recommend the Columbia Marriott to anyone visiting the area. If you are looking for a place that values its guests and delivers a top-tier experience, this is it. I will absolutely be returning in the future.
