Great location for a a short stay in Lyon.
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff, clean facilities. Roof top bar had a fantastic view over the river as did our room.
Ideally located to walk to all the main attractions in Lyon and experience the relaxed vibes in the sun.

Cons:

Zimmer war nicht bereit um 15:00 Uhr (Standard) und uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass dort 16:00 Uhr gilt, ergo mussten wir in der Bar warten. Um 16:00 Uhr war es immer noch nicht bereit. Die Bellecourt-Suite ist das teuerste Stück. Muss dringend Komplett-saniert werden. Abgeschossene Holzwände, Unhygienischer Teppichboden, Badezimmer ein langgezogener architektonischer `Murks`. Nespressomaschine = JA, Kaffekapseln vom Billiganbieter, Qualität = SCHLECHT. Kaffelöffel aus Papp-Holz - haben wirkliche Löffel im Frühstücksraum beschaft mit Ergebnis: Noch billiger = gestanztes Blechbesteck wie in Billigrestaurants in Griechenland, Mexico oder Asien. Eigentlich ist das ganze Hotel sanierungsbedürftig. Preis/Leistung hat für Hotel und speziell für Zimmer gar nicht gepasst.

Frukosten (jättegod!) uppe i restaurangen med fin utsikt.

Cons:

Incheckningen var otroligt utdragen och jobbig. Luftkonditioneringen i rummet fungerade inte, ens efter att en tekniker kommit och "fixat" den. Väldigt varmt, nästan ingen sömn.

Careful with you car - not dog friendly

Cons:

Nobody explained is the amenities of the hotel. The website says dog allowed and usually pet accessories shall be brought. It was not the case. Then staff at the reception told us that the dog shall stay with owner at any time. At the same time Sofitels do not allow dogs in dining areas. Plus, this is not in the hotel policies. Very weird.
When leaving the hotel, the check out at 6.45am took us 35minutes. We were alone. The receptionist kept forgetting everything and the valet parking person brought us wrong cars. The excuse was that our car was in the back (?).
