I will stay again
Pros:

Outstanding, Clean comfortable and quiet room, confirmed Marriott quality of a hotel.

Cons:

Not impressed with the management of a very busy breakfast at 9am on Friday morning. No tables available, no host to help until I asked. Was directed to sit in the area by the piano, but there was no set up for coffee, cutlery, etc.. had to wait too long and was almost late for my business meeting.

Pros:

Zimmer sehr sauber und groß. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit reichlicher Auswahl. Qualität der Speisen hervorragend. Innenstadt in 5min zu erreichen,U- Bahn und Bus um die Ecke.Zum Hafen 20min zu Fuß.
Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wunderschön und wir kommen wieder
Pros:

Habe noch nie so gut geschlafen wie in diesem Hotelbett. Ausser in der zweite Nacht da gab es unerwarteten Lärm, erst am Morgen mussten wir feststellen, das das Fenster offen war. Ansonsten aber Top.

Cons:

Wir hatten das Gefühl das mehrheitlich 2 Personen angereist waren, beim frühstück aber mehr für 4 Personen gedeckt war. Wir hatten ein schlechtes gewichen uns an einen vierer Tisch zu setzen da alle andern 2er belegt waren.

Cons:

Samstagnacht wurden wir durch eine Person geweckt, die sich am Eingang eines Ladens gegenüber unserem Zimmerfenster installiert hatte und über eine Stunde lang laut und anhaltend schrie.
Am Sonntagmorgen um 06.30 wurde vor unserem Fenster ein Baukran installiert, welcher über eine Stunde lang Baumaterial auf das Dach gegenüber hob.
Wem also am Wochenende Nachtruhe wichtig ist, der suche sich besser ein anderes Hotel.
Ein Taxi wurde an der Rezeption irrtümlicherweise für den falschen Tag gebucht. Da die U-Bahn streikte versuchte das Personal an der Rezeption 20 Minuten lang vergebens, ein Taxi zu bestellen. Glücklicherweise hatten wir mehr Glück und fanden nach 5 Minuten trotzdem ein Taxi. Wer also dringend zu einem Termin muss, der koordiniere seinen Transport besser selbst.
Insgesamt betrachtet haben wir schon kompetenteres und freundlicheres Personal an Hotelrezeptionen erlebt.
Hervorzuheben gilt einzig die effiziente und nette Bedienung beim Frühstück.

Overrated... And Unnecessary deposit withdrawals from credit cards
Pros:

The hotel’s location was perfect, the helpfulness and friendliness of staff (Mr Yunus at reception was particularly helpful), and the hotel rooms, which are spacious and practical.

Cons:

Although check-in time was 4.00 pm, we were only able to get into our room at 4.35 pm – with the help of Mr Yunus at reception – because room were not ready. Although there are three reception desks, there’s usually a long queue. Lastly, and most importantly, upon check-in, a deposit of 200 EURO was deducted from my account when making the room payments; whilst I do not approve of this, it is standard practice. The following day, based on information from my bank, I learnt that 219 EURO had been debited from my account, and the day after that, 249 EURO. When I asked the staff at reception about it that I received an unsatisfactory explanation. My question is: why is an amount of 200 Euro or more that being debited from my account for every day I stay at the hotel ? Over the two nights I stayed, the hotel deducted a deposit amounting to 60% of the total payment. I hope they show the same care when refunding the money as they did when deducting it from my account??? My advice to anyone staying here is to ensure your credit card limit is high enough.

Bekannte Marriott-Qualität in bester Innenstadtlage
Pros:
