I needed to print some documents and the business centers printer was out of ink and the staff would not put a new ink cartridge in it! Plus none of the printers worked at the check in desk! For $300/night the printers should work.
I appreciated that the staff were courteous and professional. However, I was disappointed with other aspects of my stay. The accommodations, amenities, and overall experience did not meet my expectations. I’m providing this feedback in the hope it leads to being better in future
The rooms were extremely small. The bathroom was super small. It wasn’t a high quality for Marriott.

Beautiful lobby and clean bedding
Bathrooms (ESPECIALLY, the bathtub) could be MUCH cleaner! Tub, toilet, walls, baseboards, not clean and would prevent another stay. Other than the restroom, I would gladly stay there again.

Our unexpected layover in St Louis caused by a weather delay impacted what should have been a simple connection. There were no other flights that evening. I quickly called this property after checking availability on my BONVOY App to verify if there was timely shuttle service to and from the airport ( yes 24/7, every 20 minutes ) and full service restaurant. My son and I had long delays at our originating airport - it had been a long day - and we wanted a nice place on property to eat. Knowing the Brand standards and hearing transportation and dining were in fact available, I booked our room. By the time we walked to the shuttle area a few minutes after I booked online and spoke with the friendly front desk, there was the van! The driver could not have been more pleasant! Within minutes we were at the hotel greeted by another very nice associate, checked in quickly and headed to our room to freshen up for dinner. Our server was very great, warm and welcoming. We relaxed and enjoyed a nice dinner before heading back up to our room. Amenities are always great. Love that full service properties offer 2 bars of soap too! Besides the stationery shower supplies. Towels are always fluffy. The standards of Marriott bedding is something we always look forward to as well. It’s SO comfortable! Up early for the 800 am shuttle back with another friendly driver to the airport. We had to stand by for our flight home, so we unfortunately didn’t have a chance to have breakfast at the hotel. But our 14 hour stay could not have been more pleasant and enjoyable considering the situation of missing our connection the night before. If I ever need to overnight in St. Louis again there is no question about where I will stay.

The first room they gave me smelled like mold. I spoke with someone on the cleaning staff and this individual told me the hotel was aware, and still placed people in these rooms with the awful smell. I was told the rooms were flooded on that side of the hotel and the carpet was never replaced— hence the moldy room smell. I was also told a family with small children stayed on that side of the hotel, and the toddler was crawling around on moldy carpet. It definitely changed my mind about staying at that Marriott again. Just the idea that a toddler was crawling on moldy smelling carpet is disgusting and says a lot about the hotel management.

Hotel’s location is very convenient for when you have an early flight at STL or perhaps when arriving late. The lobby is very nice and modern.
The hotel rooms are quite outdated, especially in comparison with the other areas of the hotel. Bathroom is extremely small and ceiling is low. The cabinet below the bathroom sink was quite dusty.
