Staff was excellent and helpful. Location is great and rooms were clean.

Cons:

We did not like the doors of the rooms, we stayed at the Marriot on Jan 3rd (1 night departed Jan 4th) and again on Feb 8th (departed Feb 9th) and both times we had rooms and doors with large gaps at the bottom and on Feb 8th we also had a large gap on the side of the door, which made it very loud. The doors need to have rubber stoppers or need to be adjusted so that they are sound proof and so people cannot look inside!

Very good experience, until you pissed me off by not explaining your “Incidentals” policy!!!
Cons:

$50 charged to my debit card for potential incidentals. None were anticipated and none were incurred. An invoice was issued showing no balance due. I had to ask about the credit to my bank account and was assured it would be issued. I’m really not happy with your holding my money for the 5-7 business days until the credit is supposed to hit my account…that I had to find out after waiting for four days and making three phone calls today.

THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN EXPLAINED AT CHECKOUT!! Not a good taste in my mouth from this. You’re a wonderful hotel that I’ve stayed in around the world…am particularly fond of the Hong Kong property; stayed there a lot earlier in my career. Reason for 5 overall rating: Very low on getting my money back NOT being explained/communicated at checkout; very good on everything else.

Everything was nice. I will come back to stay. The room was beautiful. The staff professional.
Pros:

The location was perfect. I also was happy with the way we were able to cancel our remaining stay and leave early due to the weather with no problems. Thank you.

Horrible Experience
Pros:

Don’t bother booking here. They’ll cancel a *confirmed* reservation without any notice. After scrambling to find another hotel around the corner, we were told this happens all the time with this particular Marriott. One employee even mentioned she used to work there and quit because of the management, specifically because situations like this kept happening.

The front desk staff were rude and completely unhelpful. We’ve been Marriott members for years, but that didn’t seem to matter at all.
