I come here annually and it has taken somewhat of a dive in the past few yars. Carpets are dirty, I had a plugged shower and my AC broke. Now all of those issues were handled by the staff. BUT the place needs an upgrade. Im not going to post pictures of all the issues but the Lazy River is dirty which could just be an issue after the weekend, the rooms are worn and the whole property just seems a tad downtrodden. The staff is great no doubt - they helped me switch rooms at 1030 pm and not a single attitude about it. However, the place just needs a facelift - I should not walk into a musty smelling room for what I paid. Also paying 30 dollars a day for parking is really.... well dumb. Come on you already charge us a lot for the place. Good grief.
Amazing family friendly resort with tons of activities for kids! Pools were amazing and staff was ridiculously well trained and amazing. Desert Pearl was so good each morning, poolside was ok, but room service was delish!!
This Omni is a super fun spot with kids, its got 2 slides, lazy river, 2 splash pads, and plenty of spaces to walk around on the property!
The staff was extremely friendly. Every staff member who passed by us asked if everything was okay and whether we needed anything. Overall, the kids really enjoyed the pools and the small water park on the property.
The finish in the rooms feels a little dated. We also expected the water area to be more substantial. Splashtopia is nice, but in practice it gets repetitive fairly quickly. It was one of the main reasons we chose to stay at the resort, so we were ultimately disappointed. We had expected a much wider variety of water attractions and activities. We were also a little disappointed that many of the additional activities for children came at an extra cost.
Everything
The price , at the end a lot of other taxes were added , especially 30$ parking +6$ fee per day .
Despite the upgrade of a very large suite I was sincerely disappointed of the Omni where I have stayed for many, many years - even when it was a Marriott. Looking after my sick father and then visiting my home town it was always a nice place. Now it’s a pit - with tons of resortpass people taking all the parking spaces (and on a Saturday!). The new and improved dining room has no toilet seat covers in the women’s restroom. So tacky. I felt ignored and there was zero service and I didn’t even feel safe being an older woman alone. Gone way downhill and so dated. Sad. Won’t be back. Why did I pay $30.00 for parking when the “day people” pay nothing? Gross pool and I agree with the number of tats and inappropriate clothing. Yes, I am old-fashioned. Grew up in the desert in the 60’s and its certainly not the same.
One of the best values for a golf tournament in the desert. Course isn't perfect, but has continually improved over the past few years that we've come here. The golf staff is welcoming and let us don our thing! The hotel rooms are showing their age, but they were clean and we love the two story villas that sprawl across the property. Several pools to enjoy. Restaurants went through a recent renovation and they are a great improvement. Recommend for a reasonably priced hotel with onsite golf course compared to the overpriced competition.
Great Atmosphere for a family vacation. We enjoyed every activity at the Omni Resort will be back to enjoy another family trip.
Everything was amazing.
Nothing I could complain about
Great for families! Lots of fun activities.
My room had an ugly view, opened the patio doors and it was just an empty river bed or something but just dry brush and a big empty nothing.
