Cleanest
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
Room was clean
Two of the elevators were out of service. I had to walk down with a suitcase from the 8th floor when checking out. I waited for 15 minutes to get the elevator but when it showed up it had service workers on it and they said "no room" and closed the door.
They are nice and friendly
There’s No microwave in my room. It make it hare for me to eat
The rooms are fine, but the management needs to get a grip. I was woken at 3:45 a.m. by a loud conversation outside my room. When I eventually gave up trying to sleep through it, I stuck my head outside the door to ask people to be considerate. Three armed police officers were dealing with someone standing in the doorway of the room next door: they told me to get back in my room. The noise continued for more than hour, and the police finally left around 5 a.m. There was more commotion when the guest concerned was evicted a few hours later. Basically, it was what you might expect from a cheap motel in a rough location, not from a Marriott in an expensive residential area.
I spoke to the manager to suggest that when they need to call the police to deal with a disruptive guest, they might want to ensure that hour-long debates are conducted somewhere other than in the hotel corridor in the early hours. For my trouble I was given a small credit, amounting to about 25% of the cost of the stay for one night. Seriously, guys? I’m staying there for a good night’s sleep, not the bar facilities. I’ve sent three polite messages to try to engage with the “Guest Experience Expert” at the hotel, with no response.
I’ve been a Marriott loyalist and I’m supposed to be returning for a few nights next week, but I’m looking at alternatives.
Standard.
Two chairs would have been better than one.
Great parking and quiet rooms
We were a bit worried prior to
staying at this property due to so many recent negative reviews.
I have to say, I was very happy we decided to!
We came over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend for a college basketball tournament. The hotel was extremely clean, staff were great, and beds were comfortable.
The lounge access is worth every extra penny.
Full breakfast with omlette station and 24 access to sodas, waters, snacks etc
The only thing I would recommend is not having a room right off of the elevator due to the noise of it going up and down. We did the first night and asked to be moved and they immediately accommodated us
We would 100 percent stay at this property again 😊
Only the location was satisfactory. Everything else was terrible. The restaurant and amenities were horribly overpriced. The shuttle did not pick us up from the metro station at the scheduled time, we got tired of waiting and Ubered back to the hotel.
Everything was unsatisfactory. We were put in a small room, room no. 145, between a storage closet and a large meeting room on the ground floor. When we asked to move, we were told there were no other rooms available (even though people who checked in after us were able to check into doubles without a problem). After the weekend, when there were clearly vacancies throughout the hotel, the manager asseverated that all the rooms are the same size. But they are not: I have stayed at this hotel before and the fire map clearly shows the room is not the same size as other rooms. We also saw other rooms that were being cleaned which were considerably larger. Further, the cold water came out warm to hot every evening and the heating did not adjust to the thermostat, resulting in a room that was over 75º. The door/window was sealed shut. The room also had a dirty carpet and only one towel was replaced when the room was serviced. The manager (Jeff Rosenbaum) was dishonest (outright lied to my face) and the staff obsequious but unhelpful. Typically when a guest who is staying five nights in the hotel with two guests expresses dissatisfaction with the accommodation, staff should offer to move the guest when availability allows. The staff at this location did not do that, and in fact lied about the size of the room.
Convenient.
A little expensive.

Paying for parking and Wi-Fi
My stay at Bethesda North Marriott Hotel was wonderful overall. I had club access, which made the experience even more enjoyable as I was traveling with my sister and our children, aged 8 and 6. The club lounge offered great amenities and a comfortable space to relax, which was especially helpful with kids.
The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the parking was convenient and hassle-free. The hotel’s location was great for nearby attractions and dining.
If I had to suggest one improvement, adding a few more kid-friendly snacks or activities in the club lounge would make it even better for families.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with family or looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service.

Dear Mr. Lang:
My wife and I had an experience at your hotel last week that I want to share with you. Your front desk agent, Parama Biswas, gave us exceptional service.
Ms. Biswas saw to our every want or need, providing outstanding service at every opportunity. This was not a one off for her. Every day she did her utmost to take care of us.
In particular, she helped us navigate Maryland’s public transit systems. On one occasion, at the end of her shift, Ms. Biswas took time away from her going home commute to help us board the local bus that took us to the Metro Station.
In today’s environment, one rarely sees the care and attention Ms. Biswas gave us. She provided a level of service warranting special attention. This is why I write in the hope she will be commended.
All too often these incidents go unattended. So I want to praise Ms. Biswas for an excellent job and compliment you for managing your people in such a way that motivates them to do their very best.
Appreciatively,
Connie Easterly
