Overall enjoyed hotel! Close to all the sights and restaurants.

Very nice!
Pros:

Location is good..Love the newly remodeled rooms and the look. Got a great price. Would consider staying again when I'm in the area.

Cons:

Would not say its a romantic place...too many young kids. Work out area should be for adults not small children running around or on the equipment.

Cons:

Desk reception, I made 3 long distance calls to the hotel before leaving Canada, the hotel phone did not work, the calls were disconnected, I brought this to the attention of the hotel at check out. I will have to pay fior the calls with roaming fees this could be expensive, they did reimburse me.

Surprised by some basic shortcomings
Pros:

Nice lobby and common areas. Easy access from highway. Fresh clean smell throughout. Friendly desk staff.

Cons:

Breakfast buffet was weak, underprovisioned, and hard to find -- they were low on food, ran out of juice, and had no clean silverware left. (It's like they had no idea they were having guests at their hotel that morning??) Housekeeping did a half-effort job making the beds and picking up the towels. It was a long walk from the front desk, past the conference facilities, to the hotel in the back. Beds were uncomfortably firm. Shower apparatus was very leaky. Generally unimpressed and surprised at these shortcomings given the Marriot reputation and room rates.
